All good from start to finish 👍 I placed order , realised I made a mistake , called supplier and they rectified it for me without fuss or extra charge …….. order arrived on day specified “ extremely “ well packaged .Don’t go anywhere else 😀👍😀
Product is good - bought Alukap Glazing Bars for repairs to customer’s timber conservatory roof, but service poor. Checked delivery before starting job and all seemed fine but when installing it turned out they had not sent enough gasket (needed 28m so presumably someone couldn’t be bothered to measure it and just guessed). They offered to send me some more which is fine but weren’t interested in the fact that a one day job now turns into 2 days. I can’t charge the customer more so I lose a days work. Just a small partial refund as a gesture to show they are interested in putting things right would have helped but they point blank refused until I threatened a charge back on my credit card! That triggered a phone call from them (good luck if you want to phone them though - no contact numbers anywhere), but all they wanted to say was that if I did make a charge back then they wouldn’t send me the missing gasket! Mistakes happen, but it’s how you sort them out that makes the difference. There are plenty of other businesses out there who offer the same type of products so needless to say I’ll be using someone else in future and recommend everyone else does the same.
I explained my project and my budget. Clear Amber team was spot on. To reduce my cost they advised me that 4mm will cover my project really well too from 5mm. My greenhouse now has a safe roof instead of glass, even after almost 3 months and all the storms in between :). Many thanks for your advice and patience.
The quality of the materials was brilliant, the delivery timeframe was exactly as they promised and the products arrived in beautifully wrapped packaging. Just perfect, loved every bit of the experience of shopping with them.
Beautifully packedBeautifully packed. Bought it to replace greenhouse glass and while it flexes a bit the 3mm is fine for 2 foot wide panes. The sticky sealant stuck all the right bits together. Only problem is now I shall have to wash the rest of the greenhouse glass.
