Review Time
My husband is currently with this company paying for bike finance but he no longer has the bike, the bike broke after 3 days and was returned, he was told by close brothers to not accept the bike back and they will escalate it, this was 2 months ago! He is still currently paying this company as they said if he stops it will affect his credit score. Close brothers have said they will unwind the contract as the bike wasn't fit for purpose but every time we call no one has any idea what's going on! We have sent multiple emails and not had a response and every call is left with "we will call you back" but no one ever does! We have been in touch with the financial ombudsman and will be escalating this further. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I would honestly rate lower if I could Do not use these people. They are absolute crooks. They charged me 1 month and then they are asking for more £120 now. Couldn’t get through to anyone to cancel our insurance, 40 min wait on phones, unhelpful staff and just an all round disaster. They said my cancellation request was sent from a different email which is not. They said they try to call me on the 14th of June but they didn’t. I tried to cancel several times, So I got new insurance on my new car else where. 2 weeks later I receive an email Saying my policy is still active and it wasn’t cancelled as I sent from another email. Excuse my luanguage but this company has been nothing but demoralising for me and the amount of hours I’ve spent on hold and chasing them is outrages. Do yourself a favour and steer clear.A lot of time and money wasted that I won’t get back stay clear of these for an easy life.
I too like the person 10/5/23 have recently taken out car insurance with Carole Nash insurers, you have also just contacted me to do a credit check. I too have never had to do this in my life! I’m 62. I’m thinking of cancelling the car insurance completely. Cheek!Bog standard reply saying nothing really. I’ve cancelled the policy. No need to reply.
Looking to purchase a new motorcycle from a dealership. Close Brothers were approached by sales person and I was accepted straight away, Everything was so easy I literally did nothing. Everything was planned for my personal need's and repayment's were suited for my pocket. And with a final e-mail and letter reminding me to cancel my direct debit after the final payment was a welcome reminder. Thank you Close Brothers for such a good and easy service to use
Always paid my account, however, during Covid and being self-employed it was difficult to meet the monthly payments. I called this company immediately and they were only too happy to help. My account was put on hold and I then made up the payments when I was working again which thankfully was not long.
