Avoid CLOSE BROTHERS PREMIUM FINANCE

Beware of using CLOSE BROTHERS PREMIUM FINANCE for insurance. We found their correspondence unclear, agressive and exceptionally long winded. The Customer Service agent we spoke to was utterly clueless and unhelpful. Their interest rate quote for paying monlthly property insurance instalments changed 3 times in 24 hrs ending up at a laughably over priced 12.99%. Avoid CLOSE BROTHERS PREMIUM FINANCE like the plaque.

Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company. Took out car insurance and then was contacted to do a credit check. Declined this as this is very unusual when buying car insurance and is most likely data harvesting. Cancelled the insurance policy but they are still chasing me for payments even though the policy was cancelled after one day and money refunded by insurance company. Reported to financial conduct authority. Avoid at all costsUpdate 13/06/2023 - Information sent to the email address given by Darwin and close brothers proving that insurance was cancelled as advised. Strangely enough no reply! In case any of these fraudsters decide to look back here is the reference number for the cancelled insurance (2432417/001). This has been sent you via email three times, perhaps now its on a public site you will be able to deal with it?! Now reported to the action fraud (metropolitan police, here is your crime reference number too NFRC230605986502) and it will also be escalated to the ombudsman.
