The company was terrible. They was no help what so ever. We had an agreement which I would pay a little bit less a month and then after that agreement finished they won’t over 600 pounds more or they would take my car away and sell. They was no help they didn’t even care. And after I got a new cheaper car and that car company paid off what’s left of my old car close brothers sent me a letter and said I still need to pay 600 pounds. DO NOT USE
I had a letter come through regarding a refund owed to me of £250, said the payment would be with me within 3-5 days and its not coming up to two months with no payment. Steer clear from this company, going to the financial ombudsmen to log a complaint. I am not the only one going through this, I suspect its cash flow issues.
This is the second time I have used Close Brothers for car finance and I have been more than satisfied with the service. My finance contract is coming to an end and I would use again. I am waiting the outcome of the enquiries regarding a number of Car finance companies which have overcharged interest and Close Brothers have been named as one of these companies and have set aside monies to compensate their customers and am looking forward to Close Brothers corresponding with me on this matter within the appropriate timeframe.
