I have got finance from them in January and complained on the second day its know 8 months down the line and still havent got very far they take weeks to answer today i have rang the 32 times and kept getting cut off you send them an email and even that i have chased up as no one replies I have never iny life see such a bad company Would mot recomend it to any oneThey have come up with a solution after 8 months but i want it finalised and even that is taking weeks they do not do what they say there going to do
Here’s an update on the close brothers group I put a review on trust pilot a few weeks ago. This is the reference number they put on trust pilot reference TP0711 along with a number so I rang the number got in touch with them and give them that reference number the lady said there nothing on our system well that’s strange why would your colleague put a reference number on trust pilot and you can’t find it. So I explained that things are very slow but she said exactly what the other person said is the van is in good condition we can take it off your hands and close the account. Now this is we’re it’s get interesting I’ve checked the van is worth £27.000 and I owe £5500 so if I bring it to you and settle the account you will give me the £21500 she said no we don’t do that so you get a nice treat then! And the best one yet well you have worked with it for a few years I couldn’t stop laughing. I have spoken to other creditors with my situation and they was so very helpful couldn’t help me more but this close brothers group I would not recommend them to be honest I didn’t really want to go with them in the first place I was with someone else for years think the dealership must of had a good commission for this. So any one thinking of getting finance please look at all the negatives on trust pilot don’t even think about it they don’t help you
Absolutely shocking finance company,After late payment and agreeing to spread it across the next 3 payments.I then had a bailiff turn up on my doorstep with my wife and 3 toddlers indoors to pick up the van.No correspondence to say my contract was terminated or a warning letter.No legal procedure followed.Absolutely unprofessional service.
Absolute sham of a company, our vehicle that we have had for under 6months has now been off the road for 2months as we have been told not to drive it due to a fault. They've had an independent inspection carried out on it 3 weeks ago and absolutely no contact with us since. I have called, I have left messages to call me back, I've sent emails and had nothing back. Close Brothers are happy to take the nearly £200 a month they charge us, but can't get their finger out to sort out van. Disgusting excuse of a company.
No reply to my concerns although I am within my statutory rights to return the vehicle. I am now forced to pay a solicitor to start legal proceedings against the finance company for not adhering to my consumer rights and all out of pocket expenses I have incurred as a disabled motorist will be levied against Close Brothers Motor Finance as a result of their failure to provide a reasonable serviceUpdate as of 01/08/2023Having had a significant response back from CBMF I am now satisfied that senior officials and Complaint Handlers have shown a quality customer service response and expediency in helping to resolve this matter, and having heard about my distress, they immediately uplifted the faulty vehicle and returned my credit status back to before I had taken out this finance agreement. CBMF also paid me back my out of pocket expenses and gave me £50 for the duress that having no response from their claims handler caused to me. I will use CBMF to finance my next vehicle but in future I will be very careful on where I go to purchase my car.
