I was beyond impressed with the quality of the dress and also the creation process. I ordered my dress very late and with a super tight turnaround time. The Coco Melody team worked with closely with me to ensure that they had the best measurements to custom make my dress and meet my deadline. I had the dress in hand and only needed very minor alterations (some slight hemming) to be made to the final garment. I could not have been happier with the team. And to top it off, I LOVED my dress. I would recommend and order from Coco Melody again and again!
Most amazing experience! I visited the LA store and was treated with great customer service, the champagne was a welcomed bonus. Found the dress I wanted... purchase was pain free and so recieved my dress faster then expected! I was given so many compliments on my wedding day. Totally satasfied!!
My custom made dress from CocoMelody was the best decision made with regard to my wedding! The dress came out perfect, exactly as I requested. I chose lining material and color, lace appliques, and train length. With custom measurements, the dress fit perfectly, even the hem. Materials and workmanship were just as good as any dress I tried on in local shops, at a fraction of the price. It took less than 2 months from placing order to receipt. I did not have to pay any VAT or customs fees. It is really beautiful! I'm a very happy customer and highly recommend Coco Melody.
I got my wedding dress from her and it was the best choice I ever made! I was so scared to do the online buy. But it looked and fitted amazing the quality for price was crazy good!!!!! People thought I paid $2000. It also came about a week before it said it was going to come which is also a bonus!!!!
You will have to fight them tooth and nail to get a refund, even when the dress they send is defective. Some of the most horrible customer service I have ever experienced. You may notice they replied to my review, stating that I received my refund, which is correct. Like I said, I had to FIGHT for this refund. If I hadn't, they would have refunded me only 70% of the dress price, which is not stated in their return policy. BE CAREFUL.In case anyone still has questions about the type of company this is, here's an update: I tried to get the return shipping as stated in their return policy. They refused. After I submitted reviews about them, they told me they would refund the return shipping if I deleted my reviews. I would attach the screenshot of this email, but there is no way for me to do that on here.
Highly not recommended. They have really bad customer service. My sister went into the store to get a dress customized, but when it arrived in the mail 3 months later, it came in a different color from what she chose. And she would have made do with it if it wasn't such an a ugly color. Emailed their stylist Clay 3 times, no reply. Called them about 10 times. At least. No answer. Now she has to look for an alternative as her wedding is coming up.Update:They FINALLY responded to my sister, BUT only after we started leaving negative feedbacks on their social media pages. My sister was asked to send her dress back from Cambodia to LA for a refund. When we brought the dress back, we were told by their staff that the refund was only 70%. But we wanted a full refund since it was their fault and it was causing so much inconvenice, not to mention my sister had to start looking for a different dress 2 months from her wedding. But the staff told us verbitam, it was, "EITHER 70% OR NOTHING". Rude.They then deleted my sister's comments off their instagram and block her. They might reply to you on social media in a nice warm fuzzy way but behind closed doors and in private, they do not give a damn. After we left an overwhelming amount of comments, a staff named Abigail emailed my sister that she had to TAKE DOWN ALL THE COMMENTS AND FEEDBACKS ON THEIR PAGE, before they give the other 30% refund.To be honest, coming from a family full of females and having worked at retail oursleves, we have done a fair amount of shopping, and this is by far the WORST post-sale customer service we have ever encountered. After taking your money, they dust theirs hands off you.PS. Yes Clay she did buy 2 dresses from you guys. The other dress was not that perfect either. People, what Cocomelody show you and let you try on in store is not the same quality as what you will get after you pay them SHAME.
I chose Cocomelody for my bridesmaids dresses. It has been an awful experience for one of them. The dress she ordered based on their size chart would not even zip up. She reached out to them and they told her they would refund her $27 to cover alteration fees. That wouldn't cover a hem job, let alone rebuilding the back to fit. The seamstress quoted her $130, which was the cost of the dress. She reached back out and they demanded that she send them her measurements and take pictures of her attempting to fit in the dress, because nothing says great customer service like making your customers uncomfortable. In one email, the customer representative snidely explained that everyone knows that you have to take into account proportions alongside measurements, whatever that is supposed to mean. Finally they are refunding her money with the exception of shipping and a restocking fee, which is ridiculous. I understand that mistakes happen, but when a company refuses to own up them and make it right, it really grinds my gears. I'm not even going to get started on how the fabric of the dresses does not match the swatch I received at all. I'm letting that one go because with my wedding a couple weeks away, I don't have the mental capacity to get upset about that at this point.I have multiple friends who are engaged and looking to source not only bridesmaids dresses but their wedding dresses as well. I will make sure they never use this company.
