Worst experience ever with regards to bike claim. Broken into bike stolen reported to police, original purchase receipts produced. Have asked a new irrelevant question every week and then don’t respond nearly three months later still no news on my claim. Disgusting stay away they are fraudsters

Wrong excess appliedFrom google: "Linked Accidents:If one accident causes a second one, the insurance company may treat them as part of the same claim, meaning you'd likely only pay the excess once." I twisted my knee skiing and then, because of that fell in the shower hitting my spine on the bath edge. Thats ONE claim as the accidents are linked. Taking the insurance excess twice shows the claims assessors at Collinson are badly trained or simply incompetent.
Confronted with illness 48 hours before a holiday departure, cancellation was necessary. Saga were understanding and referred the situation to claims assessors Collinson.From the outset the process of making a claim was politely explained at Collinson; non judgemental yet sympathetic to our unsettling experience.
Son broke his wrist skiing we had skiing cover, they paid some of the claim but have not paid the loss of ski pass time and lessons. Black and white claim no ambiquity with the documentation never had to claim on travel insurance before, hope I never have to again.
It takes ages to get a response to your claim. They don’t just delay resolving your issue—they seem to take forever even to review your supporting documents. It took me a month of dealing with different customer service agents to get a so-called solution that wasn’t even close to what I expected. Even then, I had to explain every detail of my case from scratch over the phone, as if they’d never seen the emails or recorded any of our previous conversations. I’d genuinely like to see the office environment this company operates in.
SCAM COMPANY AVOID.They are happy to take your premium money but not a chance in hell of getting hold of anybody when I comes to asking a claim.No response via phone calls. Been on hold over 5 hours and also sent emails.Anyone from the company please feel free to respond and contact me
Got holiday insurance with Alpha only to find out it is Collinson . Got our room broken into while at Tenerife over Xmas been trying for 4 months to get some kind of money for items stolen. Keep getting same requests for paperwork I don't have. Looked at other reviews do same thing to most claims not confident getting anything from this company.
