Review Time
I have had Consolidated since the days of dial up. And I am now completely fed up with them. First they updated their website with no warning, which destroyed my access to the customer portal, and now I cannot view previous bills. I cannot even pay a bill. Their audio voicemail says if you pay over the phone you might be subject to a fee of $7.95. And on top of that, they promised me about 4 or 5 months ago a promotion of $27.50 for a year. Then they send me a letter my bill is going up $6.00 a month.
Top that all off, two tickets, no portal access. Nobody is fixing or getting back to me on this. I have spent a few hours on the phone. I even had a rep try telling me it was my internet cache. So even though I knew it was not that, I reset it. I work in tech support, and these people are bad at their job.
They do not respond to email, or on socials. And getting anyone with a brain over the phone is impossible.
A total nightmare to deal with. They ask how they can improve, but how much time and patience do they expect from their customers? First, reaching a HUMAN on the phone requires at least an hour of waiting, all while listening to annoying music and a robotic voice saying they VALUE your time. I assure you, they do NOT value your time! And don’t even consider the callback option; they never call back, it’s just a tactic to get you to hang up. Their internet service is terrible, and we endure this hassle every month just to get a technician to 'fix' it. It might work for a little while, but then it goes down again, and we have to start the whole process over, waiting 24 to 48 hours for a technician to 'fix' it again, which usually ends up being four days later. Do yourself a favor and invest in a reliable service. We’ve decided to do just that and are now exploring other options! A big thumbs down to this company!! Edit: We have switched to a much better service! Thank you for the upgrade, and surprise, the technician still hasn’t shown up!

AVOID THIS COMPANY FOR INTERNET SERVICE!!!! Even though there are worse options, this service has a very unreliable connection at best. Additionally, the so-called "customer service" is utterly lacking. Their managers are unhelpful, unfriendly, and lack basic knowledge to assist customers. It feels like dealing with a group of unqualified individuals posing as customer service representatives. Also, steer clear of the other provider they recently acquired.
Subpar service for the money spent. Speeds are consistently below the advertised plan, even when directly connected to the modem. Upload speeds have never exceeded 1mb per second. The phone line is problematic and has interference. The copper lines have been in need of replacement for over a decade, with promises of fiber installation that seem far off. Service appointments are often preceded by automated calls that falsely claim the issue is resolved. Each interaction with the company takes a minimum of 15 minutes, and I've wasted nearly three hours trying to close my account.
Extremely frustrating experience. I switched to this service a couple of months ago, and they have never sent me a bill, only disconnection notices. How can I pay if I never receive a bill? The hold time to pay my bill exceeded an hour. Absolutely absurd.
Zero stars would be more fitting. This company claims to operate 24/7. My front door handle is falling off, and they promised to call back on Monday. I expressed urgency since it's my only way out of the house. They insisted it was a locksmith issue, but I explained it needed a handyman. After claiming they left a message with my rental company, they disconnected the call when I asked for their supervisor.
