Review Time
Recently I made quite a few purchases from Corston, their switches are so beautifully made, as are all their products. Even better is their customer service, Esther was so prompt to respond to my questions & helped me resolve any issues I had perfectly. She was a true professional. Best customer service I've had in a long time.
We used dimmer switches throughout a large renovation project. And they are awful!!! Many of the buttons are wonky. Some have come off in our hands. And others don’t turn properly. Oh, and the plates they are on are often wonky too. Our contractor has complained and asked for toggle switches to replace them all instead. But all Corston have offered are some replacement parts for the dimmers. I think they’re not quite realising three things: 1/ We have no faith in their crappy dimmers as too many have had problems; 2/ It costs the end customer (ie us!) to pay an electrician every time they do anything, even though it is Corston’s error; 3/ It is commercially foolhardy for Corston to argue with us on this: these are electrical items which should be 100% all of the time, not occasionally. Other potential customers will read this and may well not order as a result.
How lovely to deal with a company where an email, sent in the evening with questions about a product, is replied to in detail by the next morning. It’s the second time I have contacted Corston about a product asking for more information and it will be the second time that I shall be ordering from them. Great customer service!
