Just been speaking with the DVLA regarding a refund of road tax due but unfortunately Hereford bmw didn’t notify the dvla on the day I sold them the car. They actually notified them in January so I lost my refund. I’m so glad I won’t be buying from them again their customer service is appalling!!

Disappointing Experience with the Vehicle

I purchased a vehicle from a dealer in January 2025. It functioned perfectly until October when it started to develop issues, leaving me stranded on several occasions. When I tried to drive, the car would unexpectedly shift back into park despite the doors being closed. The service department had the vehicle in three times but claimed there was nothing wrong and refused to take it back under warranty. They insisted that without fault codes, there was nothing they could do, despite my evidence of the issue. Even with video proof of the malfunction, they have not offered any assistance and have attempted to offer me 7k less than my purchase price while trying to sell me another vehicle! The main office is saying the same thing. I feel incredibly let down and frustrated by this entire situation. They are very accommodating when selling a car, but once problems arise, they seem disinterested! I have filed a complaint with the ombudsman.

I purchased a vehicle from a dealership in January 2025. It was reliable until October when it developed a fault, leaving me stranded multiple times. They're friendly during the sale, but once issues arise, they seem disinterested. I've filed a case with the ombudsman.

Very poor service from the dealership...

Very poor service from the dealership; they couldn't or wouldn't provide a financing option for a vehicle. They kept saying they would follow up, while another location provided figures that were still over budget. Unfortunately, no purchase was made with either location. They can't compete with larger dealerships on discounts and trade-in values! It's quite disappointing.

I purchased a used vehicle with low mileage recently. This dealership claims to offer five-star service and satisfaction in all areas! It's hard to believe. The vehicle was not up to acceptable standards, and when I raised concerns, they dismissed them, suggesting I wouldn't notice minor imperfections from a distance. Be cautious when buying from this dealership; they clearly don't care. I eventually received a full refund after expecting a well-presented vehicle.

Extremely disappointing experience...

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the dealership. After spending over £3,500 on repairs, the vehicle was returned to me in a filthy condition. It smelled terrible, and some work I was charged for was incomplete, while I was also billed for items covered by the manufacturer. I was quoted an inflated price for a new tire, even though a reputable tire company confirmed it was fine. I was told tracking couldn't be completed due to seized components, which was contradicted by another garage that managed to fix the issue. I have lost all confidence in this dealership. The service manager even suggested I take my business elsewhere, which I did, purchasing a new model from a different dealer, where the service was vastly better.

Avoid this dealership...

My spouse's vehicle was affected by a recall that unfortunately failed before we received the notice, leading to significant damage. Our garage contacted the manufacturer, only to be told there were no known issues at the time. After incurring costly repairs, we received the recall letter, which was frustrating. The issue recurred, and despite assurances from the warranty, the dealership refused to assist with repair costs. They provided an inflated quote, which was used to deny help. To make matters worse, we were advised to scrap the vehicle, only to be immediately offered a deal on a new one. This experience has been disheartening and financially burdensome. The dealership's tactics were manipulative, and my spouse's trust in the brand has been shattered.
