I can only endorse the comments already made about this company. Just like the responses on this site their emails are polite in tone but totally unhelpful. Refusing refunds for sale items, offering credits instead and requiring items to be sent to China (no mention on website). Items are cheap and shoddy and bear no regard to sizing standards. Avoid like the plague. If you are impacted contact your bank for a chargeback. If enough people do this it might get them to stop. Couture Moda - don't just say you are reviewing your policies. Stop acting illegally. That's if you have any intention.
Please be cautious — this company is misleading. The product was advertised as a leather bag, but it is clearly a low-quality synthetic alternative, likely sourced from China. If a refund is not issued promptly, I will be reporting the matter to Trading Standards and pursuing legal action.
Nothing like what you see. Brought a 20s dress at £50 in sale. So no return and I didn't realise it comes from China else I would not have even thought about ordering. Poor quality..terrible sizing. I brought a great quality dress from amazon in the end of £23!
Pursuing legal action on 27th may if my refund is not issued by then, following my three emails that have not been responded to. (Yet somehow you managed to give useless automated responses to these reviews!). It would be in your best interest to issue my refund before Tuesday 27 may. I bought a dress from Couture Moda but the fabric was not as expected, nor did it suit. I knew that one had to pay for the return. The dress cost £44.00 the return to China £28.00. Nothing on their website to indicate how hight the return cost could be.Courture Moda had an office / showroom or something at 124 City Road. EC1V 2NX. LOndon so why cant they take returns there?I think they are sheisters. Beware
The two products I ordered took ages to arrive. The sizing was completely out and my normal 10/12 UK size was no where near the garments they sent more like 6-8 sizing. The medium ( their size) I could not even get in. The large ( their size) I could just get on but not zipped up. The quality of the fabric was poor and the colouring out. I will not even bother to try to send back ( having read the reviews) and I will never use this company again nor recommend.
My other half bought trainers from these guys- the shop had a UK address. They cost £46. They arrived and were awful. She asked to return them. Turns out, returns go only through China and postage costs £20. The other option was to accept £20 odd of store credit- why the hell would she buy there again???Quality was very low. Glitter was falling off in the packet (no shoe box) and they felt flimsy and weak. The soles curved in- in slightly different places.Please please don't buy from these guys.
I ordered two of the same dress, they looked really glamorous and perfect for the occasion I wanted them, however the quality that arrived was very different and incredibly poor- what turned up doesn't look like the dress I ordered. When looking to return, I've discovered after much searching because my item was a sale item I can't get a full refund but instead a credit for the store. The quality is poor an so my return is valid. I am fuming. I've also been chasing for a return details for over a week now. If Couture Moda want to contact me, I would very much appreciate it. But this is really very poor and I would advise people avoiding this company. Very disappointed as I had high hopes!
