I ordered items from their website, which claimed to be based locally. I ordered two dresses at a discount, and when I tried to cancel the duplicate order, I was told it couldn't be canceled. I couldn't return the first order to a local address but had to send it to an overseas location at my own expense. I shipped everything except one item on July 11, 2025, and it has yet to clear customs. They charged me for both orders and I’m still fighting for a refund. This company is a scam; please do not buy from them.
My experience was absolutely terrible; all three items looked nothing like what I ordered. I didn't realize they were poor-quality products from overseas. I had to print a return label and send everything back, which was a hassle. I will never shop here again.
Regrettably, I ordered from this company without checking reviews first. Many reviews highlight a pattern of ignoring refund requests and misleading customers. They seem to have a system of sending the same response to complaints. The majority of reviews are one-star, with many wishing for a zero-star option. I've informed them that I'm reporting their practices to the appropriate authorities, as they need to stop exploiting innocent customers.
I've reviewed this company before and I'm still trying to secure a refund since April. They admitted the goods were substandard and claimed they processed my refund, but it hasn't appeared in my account. I've contacted legal authorities and consumer advice services, hoping to halt this company's deceitful practices. Their apologies feel insincere; it's all just a facade. Don't waste your money!
This is an update to my review of 10/10/25! Still no further on, their reply & my response back to them is shown at the end of this new thread!Honestly I would never use them again! They don’t operate like other online retailers & it’s now looking like you never receive a refund on the goods you order if they need to be returned!! I’m expecting my package back soon as returned undelivered!!! I honestly do not recommend it and I warn you.I ordered a dress that looked beautiful in the photo, which was far from reality. I decided to return it because it was too big and ugly. I followed the instructions and sent it back, where I had to pay 20 pounds for shipping to China. It was in June... I haven't received a refund yet, and what's moreI have to pay customs duty because my parcel was detained.. I am reporting a dispute to my bank TSB. This is very unfair to the customer, but I will not give up.
If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered 2 dresses which were nothing like the photo on their website. They looked like rags. The company is in China and the website doesn’t mention this at all.I paid extra for tracking services to return these clothes in July and I am still waiting for a refund. I have now been told that the parcel is in customs and I will have to pay another charge to release the parcel to the company, which I find unacceptable . The company have offered me a 50% refund and a 50% credit note. I do not want a credit note as I will never buy from them again.
I never a full refund. The saga started in May 2025. The company is difficult to contact. Eventually, they sent me an address. I used the Royal Mail to return my purchase. Couture Moda said they had not received it & ask me to check with the R Mail. Everything was kosher returning the item & quite simply Couture Moda didn’t pick the order up, from customs. Couture Moda implied the package was 'lost'. The Royal Mail found it in customs waiting to be picked up, & sent it back to me. Very upset with Couture Moda. The quality is terrible & sizing runs very small but, you know, maybe I would have bought a size bigger if I had got the full refund & returns were easier.TO:Couture Moda. Smarten up. Improve your service, refund us fully, and apologise. Otherwise, as with do many other people, I agree on:"DO NOT BUY FROM COUTURE MODA".
