I never learn. Appalling customer service. Ordered CD player on line. Have receipt, emails, card I paid with, Apple Pay number but “can’t release product as card number doesn’t match” despite showing evidence it was paid for. Eventually got through to customer services by phone and helpful lady provided a number unrelated to anything I hold. Store cannot override online orders and could return or resale product. Should have stuck to John Lewis. Worth paying more….
Emily was amazing and the only person who actually made an effort to make sure I recieved my item kept in contact with me which makes a customer feel more at ease communicating back and forth I received a gift card as good will gesture for what I went through the stress for them 4 weeks was acctually horrendous as I am a nervous person I am happy I have my items thank you very much for ll your help Emily
Horrific customer service - outsourced call centre and wouldn't listen, despite trying to explain that it was booked for next day deliver you rude and poorly behaved CSA shouted and spoke over me. Currys is not the place to buy your goods. better service else where
So disappointed in Currys on line service. Ordered a dishwasher for an old couple in their 90s, both quite immobile and frail, to replace their existing machine. Paid nearly £100 for delivery, installation and removal of old appliance. Installers only partially installed machine as cable needed to pass though back of cupboard which they said they couldn't do. They emptied out cupboards onto floor and then left this before leaving. When machine was installed fully by someone else, it had a drain hose leak. Trying to get this sorted on line was impossible. Web chat wasn't working and referred to phone number. This took 40 minutes to get through, then told me I needed another number. Another 30 minutes waiting then told I needed an 'uplift number' from manufacturers. Called manufacturers who said they only passed this directly to Currys and couldn't help. I already supplied Currys with FD, EnR, ZnR numbers, order number, addresses, phone numbers etc It appeared they were trying to put obstacles in the way of progress. Anyway, after 3 hours of going around in circles and waiting on phone, gave up. Will either get Bosch to call or purchase new hose myself (machine has still not been used!). I will never, ever use Currys online service again, I'm afraid. People need to know how difficult it is when things go wrong....
The setting up of my newly purchased Lenovo laptop was started by a young lady who admitted to never having done before.Eventually the task was taken over the stores ops manager who was clearly adept in what was required. The problem was he was continually being called away by other staff members and the whole process resulted in me being in the store for three and a half hours: however one and a half hours of that was taken up by saving the entire system onto an USB.
