These are very agressive products for the scalp, I have used their products for my colored hair:shampooing along with the serum MELU, and the ALCHEMIC Conditioner TobaccoVery disappointed they will dry your hair and irritate your scalp, avoid them.
I'm honestly in love with Davines, I've been using their Purifying and Energizing shampoos and gels on rotation for a while now and even after so many months I still feel the benefits after every use. My hair feels healthier than it has done for years and whilst it's not the cheapest, it's worth every penny. Recommended to me by my sister in law, and being recommended by me to literally everyone who will listen! Love love love!
I decided to invest in over $200 worth of Davines products. When the products arrived, the package was a mess, soaked at the bottom. It turns out the shampoo spilled all over the place and, that shampoo is not cheap. Fortunately I was able to salvage most everything else from the box. Customer service is virtually nonexistent since I have not heard back all week despite multiple attempts to reach out in different ways. My conclusion is that the way they treat customers is not that important to them.
I love the products but they use DPD as a delivery service. Whenever I order, they never actually deliver to my home and I have to go 30 minutes out of my way to pick up the package. I'll order my Davines products from somewhere else from now.
I recently purchased two products in bottles with hinged lid. On first use the hinge broke. No longer confident that lid would stay on / seal product when in my bag.Contacted customer service - their response was essentially oh dear, never mind, nothing to do with us.I asked for a replacement bottle to be told we don’t have access to those. I was advised to contact company I bought item from to get them to provide a bottle ! Very disappointed, that having paid a considerable amount for products, the company really couldn’t care less about customer satisfaction.
I discovered Davines in 2016 while living in the UK and I've been using it since then. Tried other products but nothing beats Davines. Great fan of the 'Oi' products. But really tried almost all of them as I went through different hair phases in these 7 years.
About half a year ago I bought a few Davines products, and while being a bit pricey, they didn't disappoint. The Alchemy copper shampoo suits my hair really well and gives it a nice tint without going overboard. SPF sits well on skin, even though I used to hate having SPF on my face, this one I can tolerate. Texturizing serum has been my favourite so far, as you only need a little of it so a bottle is enough for a while. Definitely going to try something else.
I literally love Davines and I’m obsessed with their MELU line. I was so desperate with my hair, as I started losing a lot of hair and at some point it became very dry at the end but super oily on my scalp. I literally tried everything, but then I came across Davines. It’s such a great brand, no nasty stuff and it smells great. In a matter of a couple of weeks my hair back to normal. Now I can’t use anything else anymore, as this has given life back to my hair and literally no other product can compre to it.
l bought Davines Shampoo and Conditioner for silver hair. So upset how my hair looks now; a little lovely silver colour (hoping l would have produced the colour further with Davines), lots of strands of brassy blonde and also a small amount of brown/gingery hair (horrible shade really hard to describe).I have realised my hair is growing with a silver grey colour, but obviously the other colours will take approximately a year to outgrow. I am so upset l am going to seek advise if something could be improved.
