I ordered a custom foundation and it literally arrived within a couple of days. Unfortunately it wasn't quite the right shade for me but I think that would be down to my preference in foundation colours - it was pretty accurate. I scanned the QR code to request an amendment which took a few minutes and then a day later I had been contacted about a new colour being made and sent out. I didn't have to pay anything for the second bottle which is perfect. I chose medium matte coverage and it really is a lovely foundation and the customer service was exceptional. Would highly recommend.
I’m nearly 56, with dry skin, which is pretty pale, with blue/grey eyes, blonde hair and now have a few broken capillaries on my cheeks and around my nose, not loads but enough to give me slightly red cheeks. I’d been following Lorna lux online and saw a video where she raved about Dcyphers foundation and thought I’d give it a try. Foundations are much harder to wear as you get older as less is more, but you’re at a stage in life where there’s so much more you want to cover up. I took a picture of my face as the foundation is made for you based on your skin tone/undertones. I chose dry skin, medium cover, radiant finish. When it arrived I used one pump which was too much for me, but on using 1/2 a pump, with their foundation brush, I can honestly say I’ve never used any foundation that’s as good as this. I can say that hand on heart and as an ex beautician, having over the years used used, Chanel, Elizabeth Arden, Clarins, Dior, Armani, MAC, Lisa Eldridge, Nars, Charlotte Tilbury, to name but a few, none of them are a patch on this product. Honestly my dream product so I bought the concealer as well. I intend to buy another soon for the summer but will wait until then when I may have a little more colour and go sheer so it’s nice and light for the summer…. Cannot recommend this enough, stunning and my new hero product! 5*
I like everything about the product bar the pump design . I found it spurted the foundation out everywhere. I contacted them and they sent me a replacement with no problem but it has not resolved the issue.Today it has ruined a jumper as it spurted the foundation straight past the brush onto my sleeve.No chance of getting the stain out so this alone will result in me not repurchasing.
Tried it for the first time a few weeks ago. The colour was perfect and I loved it. I did however feel the matt finish was a little heavy for my skin so I emailed and asked their advice. With out hesitation they sent me free of charge another bottle in the Natural finish. Excellent service - arrived within a few days and I loved it ! Just ordered the Glow set and hope I love it just as much. Thank you for good customer service.
I left a one-star review on the Decypher website and it has not been published. Given that the website appears to display overwhelmingly 4- and 5-star reviews, this raises serious questions about how reviews are selected and whether customers are being shown a fully transparent picture.I have ordered from Decypher twice.My first purchase was the foundation. The colour match was excellent. However, the formula was extremely disappointing. It was thick, heavy, and made my normal/combination skin look dry and flaky. I contacted customer services and they responded quickly, offering the dry skin formulation free of charge, which I accepted. While I appreciated the response, the alternative formula was no better for me — it emphasised fine lines and pores and still did not sit well on the skin.Some time later, I purchased the Glow Booster after seeing the consistently glowing reviews. I completed a new colour match. The product provided virtually no coverage at all — not light coverage, but none. It simply made my skin look shiny. I contacted customer services again and was offered a prepaid return label for a refund, which was appropriate. I chose not to return it and instead found I could only make it usable by mixing it with another product.While customer service has been prompt, the products themselves have been underwhelming. Prospective buyers should be aware that not every experience reflects the highly positive image presented on the company’s website and may wish to consult independent review platforms before purchasing.
I was very sceptical about this. I thought it might be yet another Instagram fuelled product with clever marketing. However, I was very happily proven wrong. This is an excellent foundation. The colour match is perfect. The coverage is fantastic, it feels great on the skin, not at all cakey. So impressed with the fast delivery too! I now have two versions, with different coverage.
I cannot fault this company for both the products &their customer services. I ordered completely the wrong item & instead of the company saying “tough” they replaced it with what I’d meant to buy..no charge, no fuss just the attention of a really lovely lady, Vicki, who couldn’t have been helpful or professional. Thank you for the wonderful & perfect foundation.
