They state that they will refund you if you are not satisfied with the product. I ordered a brightening concealer which was darker than the foundation. Ordered a replacement which was sent.. still too dark and totally different tone. I’ve asked for a refund twice weeks ago and heard nothing. Just a generic email to say they’ve received my emails. IF YOU'VE RECEIVED THEM, THEN ANSWER THEM! Really bad customer service. I wouldn’t recommend.
Purchased on the 13/11/2023, they have taken my money, they have then cancelled my order on the 14/11.2023, have not informed me and have not refunded my money. Very poor customer service. Providing an explanation for cancellation is standard practice surely?.
I first used Dcypher in Summer 2022. At that time the custom foundation was £28, came in a solid feel good looking bottle and had a decent pump. It was the best foundation I had ever used : perfect colour match, great formula that never looked dull or flat, and lasted for hours with minimal shine on my combination skin. The downside was that it was a bit expensive for me. I don't use liquid foundation on a daily basis and this only has a 6 month expiry date so I had to throw a third of the bottle away. The price then increased to £34. The bottle had changed. It now looks and feels cheap, and at £34 this is not a cheap foundation! New pump too which was terrible, splurting foundation out over my clothes and counter. I can only use it by unscrewing the pump and taking product directly out of the bottle. In the most recent order I also felt that the formula had changed since my other bottles. I was getting spots all of a sudden and the finish wasn't as smooth, but possibly my skin had changed. I went to reorder this morning, to give it one more try. It now costs £42! That is a 50%, yes FIFTY PERCENT, increase from my first purchase just 16 months ago. I will not buy it again as the short expiry date plus the cheap bottle and pump means for me this is not a high end product and the cost is not justified. Unfortunate because the shade was a great match to my skin and I always found the customer service to be excellent.
Amazing match! I was skepticle with my usless phone camera and bright lights I used to take the scans but the match is perfect and the coverage brilliant for my skin type. I will only be using this from now on! The only thing I would improve on would be he fact my email for dispatch didn't come until I asked for an update after not hearing from them.
I’d been happy with my Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation but the social media advert hooked me in! I took my photos and quickly received a foundation that wasn’t right for me. I filled in the adjustment questionnaire and was told I’d be sent a new one but with a slight delay. I received my adjusted foundation 28(!) days later and it was unbelievably perfect. I have pale skin, a warm undertone and a cool overtone so I thought I was playing it safe by wearing a neutral foundation. Now that I have a colour that matches my skin exactly (no worrying about blending!) I’m embarrassed to realise how orange I must have been looking for years. I chose the full coverage, matte foundation which is similar to the Double Wear foundation. The coverage is buildable and is very good. I will purchase again but I hope I don’t have to wait a month to receive it next time.
REALLY impressed. I was a smidge sceptical it would as good as you think, but I was confident in trying, and wow. I am impressed! The colour match is excellent, and it is the best foundation colour-wise I have used/come across.The customer service is also excellent; I was notified there would be a delay because a supplier has missed a shipment. They emailed and gave the option to either cancel, or hold on. I held on, and they sent some make up brushes as an apology. I will definitely buy again!
I am so happy with Dcypher! The custom foundation looks so good on my skin! I was struggling constantly finding a good foundation. I have pores and acne scars and every make up looks cakey and weird on me regardless of the skin preparation. This is life changing for me and I am so happy I tried it. I am ready to order my next bottle! I noticed the price increase but to be honest for me it's worth it. My skin never looked better with makeup. Please create a concealer too!!!
So I got enticed by an advert for Dcypher. I took the skin scan and saved my results and then did a bit of searching around at real reviews and videos, when I took the scan, the price was £34 for the foundation and I have an email to prove it. Within 2 days the price is now £42; an £8 price hike!! How does that make sense? (No promotion was applied previously that was just the price). And after reading one review, I found that at that just a few months ago, the foundation was just £28. That’s quite the price hike considering the time frame and has really put me off this brand if I’m honest.
The foundation it self is great, I love the way it looks on my skin and how it matches my skin tone. However my concern is the crazy jump in prices all of a sudden. When I brought this last week it was £34 (which I thought was expensive, but competitive with other brands and the fact it matches my skin perfectly I think is reasonable) and now it is jumped to £42, which I think is getting quite expensive. I also have seen it was £28 a few months ago. It makes me wonder when does it stop? And how loyal I can be to a brand which yes the foundation is great but the jump in price doesn’t seem justified.
Firstly this is a great foundation - colour matched perfectly and I was impressed with the customer service as I had originally ordered the wrong formulation (for oily skin), however they quickly sent me the one I wanted with no requirement to return the incorrect one even though it was my error.The only reason I have not given five stars is that the pump is terrible. It’s really hard to get out just a small amount and it squirts in all directions - on several occasions I’ve had to cut bags my top because foundation had squirted backwards and landed on it. I actually completely ruined one of my favourite cream tops as I couldn’t get the foundation mark out of it. If they could just sort the pump situation out then it would be perfect.
