Had two guys come clean my rugs and carpet today, was quoted £90-£150 on the phone and when they turned up was quoted £260. I agreed as they said they were giving me the ‘deep clean option’, they said they could not guarantee all stains could come out but I knew none of my rugs had anything serious on them was just general dirt from day to day use was expecting a good clean. However on leaving all my rugs are still stained, I’ve left them to dry and the stains are all there. £260 down the drain. I’m super dissapointed
Wish I could give zero stars - was quoted £90 online having given them full dimensions and photos of the rug that I wanted clean. Firstly they were 45 mins late for the original appointment. We rescheduled it but when the guy showed up he told me it was going to be £280 for a deep clean or £250 for a standard clean. I told him that wasn’t what was agrees and I couldn’t pay that price etc. He told me the £90 was the minimum amount (how stupid of me to think otherwise) but he could do me a discount. It went like this for a couple of minutes and I asked him to leave as I couldn’t pay the amount, this wasn’t what I’d been quoted etc. He haggled down to £150 and I stupidly agreed to pay - it was a time sensitive job but I wish I’d stuck to my guns and asked him to leave. He was ‘finished’ in just 15 minutes (I’d been told it would take around an hour) and now the rug is sopping wet, it stinks and it’s still got plenty of stains. He hasn’t cleaned the rug, just soaked it and not dried it or professionally hoovered it. I really don’t know what I’ve paid for and I wish I’d read other people’s reviews better - everything looked so positive on google but I think they flag any negative review or gaslight people underneath saying they’d booked the wrong company. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID
Unprofessional and dishonest — avoid!I contacted this company to remove an ink stain from the carpet. Over the phone, a fixed price of £90 was agreed.Upon arrival, the so-called technicians attempted to change the price to £120–£150, depending on how much of the stain I supposedly wanted removed. £120 for a “40–50% result” and £150 for “80%+” is a ridiculous proposition in itself. After I reminded them of the phone agreement, they reluctantly accepted the original £90, promising complete removal. The job took no more than 20 minutes. Because the carpet was wet, it was hard to see the result, but I was assured the stain would disappear once dry. In reality, it looked worse the next day, as if the ink had simply been spread further. When I contacted them the following morning, I received a text message claiming I needed to wait a few more days for it to “fully dry”, an explanation that makes no sense and solved nothing.I then spoke to a supervisor who promised a full refund and asked for my bank details. Four days later, no refund has been made. I was repeatedly told the transfer was “on its way” and have now been completely ignored. The job postcode was TR14 0PT (Cornwall). This appears to be a nationwide lead-generation operation using subcontracted “technicians”. Based on my experience, I see no reason to believe their service or customer care is any better elsewhere.Dishonest, unprofessional, and unreliable. Avoid at all costs. You can see the Before and After photos as well as my correspondence with the “customer care” below
I used this company for a deep carpet cleaning service. The service was very expensive compared to typical market rates. Communication and after-sales support were poor, including a missed appointment and delayed responses. The upstairs carpets were cleaned without issue; however, the ground floor carpet took around three nights to fully dry, despite being advised it would dry within 2–3 hours. This caused inconvenience, and marks appeared during the drying period. After I raised a formal complaint and left reviews on Google and Trustpilot, the company contacted me and paid the agreed 50% compensation, along with an apology for the delays and communication issues. While I eventually received the compensation, the process took considerable effort and escalation. I hope the company will improve its communication, pricing transparency, and after-sales service going forward.
These people are incompetent. They did give me a full refund the following day, but only after I threatened immediate legal action. I am now taking that action after the damage they caused has become apparent. They used faulty equipment which leaked and created a cascade of dirty water to ruin the decoration of my listed home on the staircases. The carpets were left worse than when they arrived and I have had to incur more cost to reverse that damage. They promised to scotch guard the carpets also. Laughable. They used a bog standard cleaning fluid and gave up once it was clear it was a leak driven disaster. They asked me for masking tape to stop the leaking hose …what a joke ! They should be closed down by trading standards. Do not risk using them. They are not a fit and proper business to deal with the British public.
