The wig I bought arrived almost without hair at the base. It was very poor quality for the price I paid and I had to resell it for less and buy one from another place because it was impossible to use. With this purchase I also got two different cosplays and the sizes were really off so I also had to resell them. It was very disappointing

Explaining some of the bad reviews + own complaints

Hey! So if your wondering yes this is a review but also an explaination.Basically doki doki cosplay is not responsible for mistakes in your cosplay or delivery, they’re items and cosplays are bought from a Chinese company that is strictly set in china.If you’ve bought from places like shien, Temu, Ali express and on.. it’s the same thing. Theyre resellers for companies in china.I have also seen people complain that they’re cosplays “arent here” after months of waiting. In reality if the website doesn’t say “ready to ship” or “in-stock” it probably means you’ll have to wait about a year. I waited from August 2024 to now for my cosplay as it had a processing time. (If you’d don’t read everything bc it’s pretty clear on buyers page then it’s on you, not on the delivery team or the company.) if your gonna buy from china read about it before you do.One thing I will say tho is that some of the metal accessories will probably fall off bc they aren’t made for long time uses. (And worn down from the delivery.) the sizes arent very big just like every single Chinese costume at this point.

Ordered, not shipped, poor service - refund only after complaint

I ordered a cosplay from DokiDoki. Their website clearly says: EU shipping:Processing time 2-3 days+ transportation time 2-7 Days". 2 weeks have passed and they didn't ship it, so I sent an email. Instead of giving me an update, they accused me of things like “malicious refund” (which I never requested!) and cancelled my order. They refunded me only after I requested a tracking number.Sadly, this is not the first time I’ve had an awful experience with this store. I had problems before where they failed to ship items or handled issues poorly (I waited MONTHS).I ordered in good faith and just wanted the gift I paid for. I would not recommend them, especially if you need your order by a certain date.

R rated Varesa and Neuvillette

I purchased the R-rated Varesa and Neuvillette cosplays.Postives ✅Both costumes have very high details. I’m very impressed with the print work that’s gone into them, the choice of materials they’ve gone with and the quality of the accessories.✅ I wanted these costumes for a convention I was going to and was struggling to work out delivery estimations, so I emailed them and they provided dates of what could arrive on time. I was told the wig wouldn’t and they refunded me for it but when my second costume arrived I found it in there I was over the moon as it is perfect colours and soft texture. ✅ Sizing is true to size in the charts provided✅ Their communication is 10/10 ✅ Cosplays arrived nicely packaged with bags that are good for storing them Not everything can be perfect, and I did experience some negatives ❌ Some of the accessories were a bit questionable for example the hair ‘X’ clips were all straight singles. However, the Barrett was easy to remove, and with the power of super glue, I was able to stack them into an X, as they are meant to be ❌ The horns for Varesa aren’t very well structured and don’t sit on the hairband provided very well, but I’m fortunate and have sewing skills, so I plan to add more stuffing and find a sturdier base for them.❌ Neuvillette we were sent two gloves but for the same hand meaning we’ve had to substitute one to at doesn’t match to make the cosplay work. However, I did inform Doki Doki of this and they have offered to send me a replacement and provided a realistic expectation of how long it will take to receive them, but they put down the wrong postcode and it’s returned to sender. Mistakes happen and I appreciate their resolve to amend them and hoping I can still get that replacement pair. I think if you are missing anything written down your full address for them to help recent this.

Company steals money

I ordered my girlfriend a cosplay back on March 28th here it is now June 14th and still no response. Any attempts to contact are ignored. This company literally just took my money.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Order placed on March 13, 2025 has not been received as of May 31, 2025. Tried to cancel order but the company refused to cancel and refund. Don't waste your time or money. This company sucks and is just a foreign cash cow.

Worst company of resellers

I would give zero if I could, literally the worst company of cosplay in terms of customer service. I waited 6 months for a simple wig ready to ship, they refused to respond to my emails. I needed to get PayPal involved, the service is also just slow and horrible In general, do not buy from this company. Save your money and get them on Taobao with a shopping service or buy directly from the site them if you can.

Wrong address delivery

Package was delivered to the wrong address and they only offered a 20% discount to reorder the same product. Also, took weeks to respond when I inquired about the missing delivery.

Had minor issues with them before

Had minor issues with them before, but usually just a small missing accessory or a missing button. This time I payed for my most expensive cosplay yet that was made to order. After 3 months of nothing I emailed them and got the answer that it was out of stock and there is nothing they can do. They didn't reach out about it, just planned to keep the money and say nothing and never made the thing I ordered. I am genuinely disappointed since their customer service has been great before

😭 Why

EDIT: Found out they’re resellers for companies in china, like aliexpress and taobao and so on. I’d say to be wary about the item I bought and not the site itself considering other reviews, but I’m not entirely sure which one it was, sorry.Got a pale yellow wig (think mozarella cheese?) from the site that showed full coverage in the hairline, but came thin and noticable and bright yellow (like a sunflower). Only upsides is it wasn’t a really long wait so if you don’t care about the other issues and are willing to put in work then who cares, its your money.
