Review Time
I wish I could give zero stars. First of all, the order took around 6 weeks to arrive, via china. Second, the quality is absolutely shocking. The cheapest tackiest materials known to man, it makes my skin itch! Third, after my order was delivered I received an invoice from dhl for import tax. I complained to dresslily who said they won't refund me as it's in their terms and conditions that this can happen and the absolve themselves of any responsibility. Seriously. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!
If I could, this would be a zero. I am a first time customer, and decided after seeing many ads to give DressLily a try. With a little research, I found out they are a Chinese company, so I put in my order and settled down to wait for what I knew would be a long shipping time. A month later, I look on my account to see where my order was, and it showed as “delivered”. With a little digging, I found out that, even though I had entered the correct address, and my correct address is on file with them under my account, whoever at DressLily was in charge of actually shipping my order put in the wrong zip code, so my order was undeliverable. (I could see the incorrect zip code when I clicked on the tracking info and was sent to the shipping company’s site). When I tried to explain this mistake to customer service, I was told to go hunt for my package myself. I tried a few times to point out that I had entered all of the correct information, and they had been the ones to botch the zip code when shipping, but was continually told it was not their problem and it was now up to me to make up for their mistake and go hunt down my package. They refused to send me another order or to refund my money, even considering that this mistake was their fault. Please be smarter than me; if you would like to actually receive your product and avoid a customer service nightmare, save your time and money and shop somewhere else.
Horrible company! I placed an order with them, gave them mu CORRECT address, they sent it to a non-existent address. The post office said they returned the package to sender. I got ahold of dresslily to have the package re-sent. First, they said they would re-ship, then they said that the post office “destroys returned packages”, then that customs destroyed it (all of which the post office said was lies) then I asked for my money back and they said they would only give me half because I gave them the wrong address (again, incorrect, I double checked) and they told me that was more than they should do for me. This is a terrible company that will steal from you, lie to you, and send you sub-par products whose sizes range drastically. Would have dealt with the “made in china” quality and shipping, but I will NOT do business with such an unethical company anymore, especially in these times when we really need to be able to trust companies with our money. You should be ashamed, Dresslily! If anyone has a hard time believing that a company would lie and be grimy like this, I have screenshots of all of our conversations, even though they deleted those tickets off of my account.
I love shopping with Dresslily!!! The clothes have all fit true to size and if there has ever been an issue with anything it is always taken care of promptly and professionally. I highly suggest shopping with Dresslily, I know I will be for a very long time to come.
