Won't be using Drivalia again.

Would not recommend Drivalia because:1. We didn't get the car we actually booked.2. Car we got had 70,000 miles on it and was due a service.3. Despite paying for full insurance and full excess waiver, this apparently didn't cover the tyres or windscreen, so we had to pay a significant amount extra for insurance.3. We had to pay extra because we were visiting the isle of Mull in Scotland.4. Drivalia depots are not located at the airport - you have to wait for a bus between the airport and the car hire depot.5. Receiving the car takes ages (like 40 minutes, not counting the bus trip) - you basically have to re-do all the paperwork, despite giving them all the details online beforehand.6. Returning the car is the same in reverse - i.e. wait ages on the side of the road for a bus. (NOT 5 minutes like the disinterested staff tell you!) Very stressful and we almost missed our flight check-in! 7. I will avoid this company, and use a reputable car hire company next time!

We had a very disappointing experience…

We had a very disappointing experience with EasyJet and Drivalia. EasyJet cancelled our flight without providing any explanation, and the following day we were faced with another major setback. Drivalia claimed that our reserved car was no longer available and forced us to pay an additional €1000 for a more expensive vehicle than the one we had originally booked. This left us with the strong impression of being misled, and we seriously doubted the credibility of this so-called “solution.” We will never book with Drivalia again, nor with EasyJet.

Great staff!

I hired a car at the Heathrow Airport branch.I appreciated the staff's friendly and cooperative attitude at both check-in and check-out. However, I would like to make a special mention of praise for the check-out attendant in charge in the evening of Aug. 19, Mohammad, who was exceptionally courteous and helpful, and went far beyond his call of duty.

Excellent experience

Easy to pick up car and Rahat at Manchester was excellent. Friendly and professional. Drop off was great as we were at the Sofitel right next door and the car was terrific all the way.

Lying Sales People

Booked car through a third party and initials rather than full name was transferred for reservation. Drivalia couldn't process order without linking full name, apparently due to insurance. Drivalia suggested original order should be cancelled and replaced with a new order, promising that original order would be refunded. Drivalia have since refused a refund with no discussion.

Illegal car rental practice

Despite contacting you on your own website and on here, your company has done nothing to stop threatening emails being sent to my elderly parents. Your company passed on their details mistakenly as the car we had returned was rented out the same day, and whilst we were already on a flight out of the uk, someone else drove across a toll road. My mother is now terrified to open her front door as the debt agency company YOU employed are threatening her. This is despicable practice and amounts to abuse as I have made it very clear on this site and your own that your company has made a mistake, and you have done nothing to rectify it.

Drivalia Gatwick, incomeptent and scammy

Drivalia Gatwick? Incompetent and scammy. After a 10-hour flight with 80kg of luggage we were told that our car wasn't available. They had our booking, but no car. Instead of finding us a car, they made it OUR problem. Their suggestion? Cancel our booking with Klook, and rent directly with Drivalia, at a cost of nearly £200 more, but with fully comp insurance (that we neither wanted or needed). Klook requested a document stating that Drivalia had failed to provide a car, so Drivalia changed its tune and upgraded us (which they should have done in the first place! This was their "mistake", not ours, not Klook's). This took over 2 hours. I was stressed, tired and furious but the guy on the desk (A**r) kept making stupid jokes in an attempt to "humour" me. The car eventually provided was barely roadworthy. After 30 minutes the red warning light came on. Low brake fluid. Very dangerous. Radiator fluid and wiper liquid also extremely low. Later, we had a tire pressure warning, and all 4 tires were well below recommendations. Shocking service, dangerous and seriously scammy. Never again.
