Absolutely awful experience. No cars when we arrived. Credit card not accepted so left with no option to buy their cover adding a huge extra expense, screaming scam. Given a car with bald tyre. Each person before us had problems with their cars too. Costumer service dreadful. No manager on site at arrival.2.5 hrs later we left to go on our trip. When we brought back the car spoke to a manager, Dan, useless as well. Never again.Update...asked to make contact. Site doesn't allow as the date has passed. Standard response with no intentions of trying to resolve and make amends for the dreadful service.
Manchester Airport location. Avoid at all cost. We booked a van online and paid a full booking price. Upon the pick up at the desk, the man was not informing what checks were being done, we agreed to DVLA check and then the man progressed to credit checks which we were not informed of. Eventually the check failed and we were not given the van. We could have used another driver to do the checks if we knew and were informed of those being performed and we would have been given the van. A lot of checks are not communicated out and therefore done without your consent. We got the refund triggered by them however the £35 was taken off if for admin fees. The company is very shady, their T&C are full of admin fees that high branded rental companies don't have and potentially are not in line with regulations. Avoid at all cost.
This is a con dont fall into the trap Not made clear when you pay that if you are retired and don't own a credit card you are have to pay an additional £50 and you can use any body else's including your partner all the branch manager would say is it's in the T&C but it should stop you paying if you say you don't have a credit card I feel like I have been discriminated against because I am retired and don't own a credit card
