The company I work for rents out flats to students. We have a policy with British Gas for Dynorod which is worth its weight in gold. Trust me when I say these plumbers are second to none. When I phoned up Dynorod on a query on our account they were super helpful. Now Jodie, the lady I spoke to, asked if we had any commercial property because they were doing free plumbing and drainage checks. It could not have come at a better time. We run an alternative health clinic and when it rains there is an awful smell from one of our outside drains.It was arranged for Friday 14th November. Now in between then my brother-in-law had booked Dyno Rod for a plumbing issue with one of our flats which is on the same road. I then rang Jodie up to tell her of two of her staff coming to two of our properties on the same road and I may be caught up between the two. She told me not to worry. She took my number and placed it as the contact number for both jobs. She told me she’d let both staff know of the other one and to co-ordinate appropriately.Around 8:30 am Connor rang for the clinic. He came round. Now I was amazed at his driving skills. How on earth did he manage to park that huge van into a small parking area? I wish I had such driving skills! Anyway, I showed him the issue. Now it was raining and it was cold. I am very averse to cold wet and wind so I went inside and let him get on with things. About 30 minutes later he came in to tell me he found no plumbing or drainage issues. However, he told me what the problem was verbally and that a report would follow by email. The report came through literally within 30 minutes on my email. It said “All drains free flowing however customer states bad smell coming through door to reception in heavy rainfall, therefore I would recommend full clean of the four external gullies around the property, to be emptied with hand tools and outlets jetted to clean traps.”I was mighty relieved that the problem can be resolved so easily and I eagerly await the quotation. Then literally an hour later I got a call from Joe another dyno rod staff member about the issue in one of our flats. He said he would be at our flats within 20 minutes and he was like clockwork. Ilet him into the flat. The tenant told him of the issue. The toilet simply wasn’t flushing. Joe looked at it and diagnosed the issue in seconds. The flow valve was simply stuck and as a result the cistern wasn’t filling up. Clearly with his Midas touch he solved it within seconds. He tested in a few times. The toilet cistern was filling up and flushing without any problem. It was sorted in 5 minutes.The tenant was very satisfied.Now consider this.If you are a landlord, it is more important than ever before that you have homecare 400 with the Dynorod policy added to it. If you don’t get an issue resolved quickly the tenant can complain to the authorities and you can be fined at the drop of a hat.The issue was raised on Wednesday afternoon. On Friday morning the issue was resolved. I am in the west midland, I contacted Dyno Rod as another company had messed up my radiators. I First spoke with Mandy, she was excellent. All of the Engineers were totally awesome, they sorted out all my Radiators, and I Even contacted them to install an extra one from scratch. Ash the one engineer who installed the extra one and sorted out another two was amazing ( just supply him with coffee lol 😁) top bloke. The guys who sorted out the 1st two were great also Thank you I will always now contact Dyno Rod amazing.
