I have been having a problem with a Neptune 4 Max. Elegoo support has been wonderful working with me to resolve the situation.
Their after sales support is the very best l have experienced.
I would not hesitate to buy from them again.
Thank you Elegoo
I had high hopes for the Centauri Carbon during the brief period it functioned well; the printer showed impressive performance. However, my overall experience has been incredibly frustrating. Shortly after it arrived, the printer encountered significant issues, beginning with a hotend heating failure that interrupted prints. Several key components were replaced under warranty (including cables, the mainboard, and hotend parts), yet the problems persisted. A subsequent critical failure led to the nozzle crashing into the build plate during regular use, damaging multiple hotends and build plates. Despite my extensive troubleshooting and cooperation, the printer never achieved a stable and safe operational state. The company declined to issue a refund or provide a new replacement unit, instead offering only ongoing repairs or a “used” replacement. While the support team is courteous, the process is drawn out and places much of the repair responsibility on the customer. This is disheartening, as the printer has significant potential, but its reliability and post-sale support require substantial improvement.
initially great, but now disappointing. I began experiencing problems with extrusion and bed adhesion, and while the support team was helpful at first, they eventually stopped responding to my requests for assistance. It's becoming quite frustrating, and I'm seriously considering changing providers for my next printer.
I purchased a $2500 printer that is large and sturdy, but it has been nothing but problems from the start. The MCU has failed to connect, and then it started displaying duplicate errors. I've been in touch with the support team for nearly two months, and they’ve had me perform firmware updates and fixes repeatedly, yet the issues persist and are worsening. Now they want me to start replacing parts, which I refuse to do. Why should I invest more hours trying to fix their faulty product? They even offered a free roll of filament as compensation, which feels quite insulting. I've spoken to other owners of similar products, and many share my frustrations, calling them unreliable.
The printer was delivered today, but it clearly appears to have been previously installed and used. The toolkit is missing a screwdriver, the scraper, the nozzle pin tool, the manual, and the filament probe. The display was already connected and carelessly placed in the case. The tape holding the front glass panel had been removed, leaving glue residue. The nozzle shows signs of use, and there are remnants on the nozzle cleaner. Additionally, anti-vibration feet are already installed, making my previous order unnecessary. To top it off, I encountered error 304 on the first startup, accompanied by loud vibrating noises as if the motor is attempting to move but is stuck.
The printer arrived today, but it was clearly previously used and installed. Several components were missing, including tools and the manual. The display was improperly packed, and there were signs of previous use on various parts. Additionally, I encountered error 304 during the initial setup, accompanied by loud vibrating noises, suggesting a serious malfunction.
Once again, I faced issues with the seller. I ordered 10kg of filament, but only received 9! The packaging was meant for 10, and this mistake is frustrating. Previously, I had problems with a printer that I waited over a year to use, only to find it didn't work. Their customer service seems evasive and unhelpful, making it one of the worst experiences I've had.
Despite the shipping company admitting they lost my large parcel, which contained a 3D printer, the available insurance didn't cover my loss. Fortunately, I managed to recover my money through my bank, which has now blocked future charges from the seller.
The printer ceased functioning on the third day of use. After providing evidence of the issue, the seller refused to accept a return and insisted on a series of complicated troubleshooting steps. After eight days and numerous emails, the problem remains unresolved. I won't be purchasing from them again.
The support I received was the worst. Their responses came late in the day, limiting my ability to troubleshoot effectively. After my mainboard failed, they sent a replacement that also failed after a month. Now, after several weeks without a response, my printer is still non-functional. I've since purchased a different printer that works perfectly.
