I contacted EMAC today because I’d noticed that my payment was not being taken but I spoke to a lovely lady on the phone who explained everything to me clearly, as for the overall service I can’t recommend them enough the service they provide is excellent and it helps to spread the cost of my vehicle maintenance
Absolutely shocking service (or lack of) from this company. Is anything actually covered by the warranties. Mechanical gearbox failure not covered because I was allegedly negligent in driving a car that apparently I would have known was failing. I have dashcam footage that shows no strange noises just a sudden catastrophic failure. £5000+ repair bill that I have had to pay. Try to claim on the Paint and Wheel warranties only to be told the chips and flaking are not covered by the warranty. So what exactly is covered. Mechanical warranty that does not cover a mechanical failure. Paint chip warranty that does not cover chips. Wheel warranty that does not cover wheels. Absolute disgrace of a company and a case raised with the Vehicle Ombudsman for the gearbox. I have been a professional driver for over 30 years covering between 20 and 100 thousand miles a year. I would not drive a car if I even suspected a failure or strange noises from the gearbox especially not if it was under a Platinum warranty.
I felt my heart sink when the dialling tone went international. However no need to worry, I spoke with an extremely helpful lady who knew exactly what she was doing and sorted out my issue easily, efficiently and politely.Excellent customer service.
