Review Time
Out of four items ordered, one hasn't arrived six weeks after ordering the items and one of them is broken. For the delayed item emag sent me a tracking number that doesn't work. For the broken item emag refuses any responsibility claiming that the item was sold by one of their partners and I should call their partner's international phone number. My view is that I entered into a contract with emag, so they should be responsible.
Unreliable. Orders do not arrive regularly, no deliveries occur, then they blame me for not picking up (which is not true).In other cases, they send a different product than the one shown in the picture. The product is incomplete and unusable.I've been disappointed by them several times. After this, never again EMAG.
Expensive dog food, 50 euros for 15 kg, was delivered for the 3rd time in a broken bag! This time "Sameday" dumped the bags in the garden. The driver did text one bag is broken.It takes a day to figure out how to put a complaint at Emag. The company does not care about customer service. Nothing has changed since last year when they claimed their slow customer service was due to a fusion (a fusion that took nearly 1 year) and I had to wait nearly 4 months to receive my money back for a delivered broke rice cooker!Only buy if you are sure you will never need customer service.Update: August 10, 2023 For the first time, Sameday courier and after them Emag responded. A new bag was delivered right now. This time it arrived in one piece. Expensive food in a cheap bag is a big no. Emag could prevent badly sealed bags gotten broken if they wrap them up or use a box.
- Packages often dont arrive. Happened multiple times.- Delivery times are wrong.- Cant rate Vendors. Some are really really unreliable.- No support. They hide their E-mail and phone number so if you try to reach them you got to do some research. I tried to contact them multiple times with their chatbot but nothing happened. - Theres no Feature like "My order didnt arrive".
I placed an order on 5th of April, with collection from an easybox locker. I made the purchase as the product (sold by emag, not some random marketplace seller) was showed as will be available for collection on 6th of April from 5pm. Of course they didn't deliver the product at the promised time, not even days later, so I had to cancel the order. I don't care that it was a bank holiday weekend, I am used to Amazon standards (aka delivery 24/7 even on weekends and bank holidays). 5th and 6th of April wasn't even bank holiday, so honestly no excuse for them. If you can't deliver on the promised time, maybe fix your website and delivery predictions. Massive waste of my time.
