Emma literally saved my life. I had no control of my finances and found myself in a dark place. The Emma app really allows you capture your income and expenditure and see your pending and recurring outgoings in one place before they occur, almost like looking into the future. Much better than any other banking personal finance assistant app I’ve ever seen. Thank you.

The app is brilliant. Exactly what you envision, and putting a bit of time into it can tell you everything you need to know about your spending habits (not always welcome info!). Features which make it easier to categorise unrecognised transactions are great e.g. automatch.1 suggestion would be to have a search function on transactions, which would allow you to search a word, and allocate transactions to categories based on thatCustomer service (Edoardo) respond to requests very quickly, very polite and get your issues sorted out! I was very impressed by the speed with which my query was resolved, given experiences with other live chats for apps.
What an absolute Godsend the Emma app is! I can manage all my finances in one place, set monthly budgets, invest on the stock market and receive daily interest on my savings. Emma sends me warnings when I’m about to go over budget and helps me to improve my credit rating. Not surprisingly, I highly rate this app and recommend it to all the important people in my life.
Any app that helps you keep an eye on your money can be useful. Emma with open banking pulls all my accounts into one place effectively. I haven’t added pension accounts updates automatically. Adding them once a month isn’t a problem. Sometimes it’s easier to find a transaction in Emma than looking through old credit card statements. One other great feature is the data download. Just go to your profile and request data download. You get everything, from all your accounts. Just open up in your favourite spreadsheet and you can have hours of fun. I think if any of my bank stopped working with Emma I’d move banks. Love her to bits.
