Is Raisin making money holding funds?

Scammy? - I think they hold incoming funds to make money off them, before passing onto the banks. I signed up for and received an email stating "You have successfully set up a login for our savings marketplace- and, for a limited time only, you're eligible to earn up to a $1,000 bonus when you use code EASY'.The next day I tried to log in to the Raisin account and could not do so. Via Live Chat I was told the account was 'flagged' and needed positive ID. Which is odd, because Raisin is merely a 3rd party marketplace, they are not the actual financial institution. They shouldn't need ID. So I uploaded my photo ID and did a matching selfie, which failed, with a notice that the account was now under 'manual review'.Thank goodness I had NOT transferred the funds - $250,000 !!! - to Raisin yesterday, to pass on to the bank of my choice. Had I done so, I, also, would have been 'stuck' waiting...and waiting...and waiting for Raisin to 'approve' my account, all the while holding onto my $250K. Raisin would be making money off my money, while I sit here, twiddling my thumbs.

The customer service team with Tommee…

The customer service team with Tommee Tippee was phenomenal! I reached out to them about a concern with a product I was using and they immediately shipped replacement parts. I will continue to use Tommee Tippee for as long as possible and will begin to use them for baby shower gifts as well! Excellent customer service!

Fine but fishy: ad hoc, uninformative, opaque

I see some people wrote that Raisin feels "scammy." Honestly, if you're used to more professional financial services, it radiates that vibe. The service felt disorganized, buggy, and opaque.After only a week, I transferred the money out ASAP and am closing it. Perhaps they're trustworthy, but it's not worth finding out; there are many high-yield savings accounts available.My experience:- I immediately signed up for the account. Easy.- After linking accounts and transferring a trial sum, my new account was suddenly inaccessible. - Passwords wouldn't work; resets wouldn't work; nothing. No information given. - To regain access, e-mail support asked me to verify a savings bank account I didn't recognize. Again, pretty alarming. - Finally, on the phone, support informed me that the account had been flagged right after opening it. No reason given. Odd--but okay. - Raisin sent me to a random third-party to scan my face and ID to regain access to the account. As soon as I could, I transferred my money out. Maybe it's fine, but as an investor, I'm running the other way.
