Customer service is completely useless, we called them multiple time to cancel our contract but they never knew how to set the end date online so we kept getting billed. Absolutely horrible service and borderline feels like a scam.
This is my first contact with Eneco. Waiting time was quick. The staff named Joep had good knowledge of my questions and answered clearly and convincingly! He was efficient, convincing and kind. I have started a new maintenance contract with Eneco!
I have a 2500 Euro usage for December 2024, in JUST 3 DAYS! There is a reporting error on Eneco's side because the meters are working well and showing the correct numbers. I called customer support and the conclusion was "wait to see if this is resolved by itself!". Damn right I will call again.
just horrible expereince, nobody could help me, was threatened with extra costs, customer service said theyd call back then didnt, people on the phone told me to fill in a contact form, when i did it got literally lost a few times. wasted so many hours trying to call and get help.
The worst company in the Netherlands, that is not capable even to stick to the contract. Plus, not reliable, they tell you one thing and few days later something else. I would highly recommend you to go to any other company for gas and electricity, as I did after so many years.
Eneco changed our monthly payment from €138 to €189 without our consent or warning in June. They also charged us the highest variable gas price during the second year as a customer, which was 4x the price of the previous year at a time the global gas prices had already dropped significantly.We ended our contract with Eneco, a woman called asking why and basically calling me stupid for changing to another provider. She said we only had to pay for our energy usage for August and this this would be a small amount. August is our second lowest energy consumption month of the year, at the median energy prices we should have paid about €40 to Eneco, they ended up charging us with €190 for that month, which is ludicrous. Very happy with our new provider Engie.
The worst service provider ever. They charged incorrect amount as service fee for months. We canceled the service with them and asked them to cancel the incorrect bills. We are still busy with their annoying unreachable departments.
Their customer service is a disaster! I called several times and each time I waited more than 20 minues without responding, at the same time thier online chat agent said there is no queue for call center! And, online agent doesn't help you for anything and just asks you to call again!
