Avoid Eneco!!!! Terribly rude customer service

Avoid Eneco!!!!I was an Eneco subscriber for many years for 5 of my houses. After constant calls from sales companies offering better deals, I contacted Eneco to see if they can offer similar low rates.The Eneco person agreed and quoted the best rates possible for a 3 year contract. I compared their offer with the offers from NLE, and even though the NLE offer was somewhat better, I decided to stay loyal to Eneco, and emailed and phoned them to accept their offer.I had no response, and continued to contact them, but they wouldn't help, and even told me that if I wasn't happy with their service I should change companies!So I gave up, and contacted the NLE dealer to finalize their offer.Shortly after, someone from Eneco phoned me to apologize for the arrogant and rude attitude of their customer service personnel. I accepted her apology and she agreed to make sure the transfers went smoothly and all the Eneco contracts were cancelled.4 months later I noticed debits were still being taken from my account for Eneco Toon!I complained and asked for a refund and Christiaan from Eneco promised to ensure the debits were refunded:"Of course I will make sure you will receive these incorrectly charged amounts back!Groet, Christiaan"Instead they sent me more invoices by email demanding payment!When I questioned these new invoices, the same obnoxious responses came, that it was all my fault, that I should have cancelled the Toon contracts myself separately (even though I could not logon or use Toon since they had cancelled my login).Jolanda and Christiaan from Eneco customer 'service' should surely get an award for the the most arrogant and uncaring service, only interested in grabbing money with no consideration for their customers.These are the sort of people who give Dutch customer service such a notoriously bad name.So I sincerely recommend you avoid Eneco like the plague.

Be careful!

You will be approached by a persistent Eneco employee that will almost force you to move to them, after realizing that they aren't really that cheap as was wonderfully promised and you want to move to another energy supplier, Eneco will force you not only to pay the €125 fine per product but you will be forced to pay the cancel the cancelation fee Eneco agreed to pay for you to move to them. Don't bother to find a contract where that is explained, because you will never receive it and when you try and find where in their terms and conditions this is stated, it is a mystery to every poor soul that has to work at this company. STAY AWAY! Better stay where you are than move to Eneco, it should have been completely clear when I realized that the Toon's services are also not free (after that too was promised by the persistent Eneco sales rep).

Used to be a customer here since you have to make your own appointments when you have an maintenance contract and when you do they don't call you back.

Eneco refuses to fix their own fault in 48 hours

Eneco setup a visit to my house for the initial boiler maintenance yesterday, and the technician suggested we change a couple of parts, just as a caution, and not because there was any problem with the current system. Of course I followed their advice and let them change the parts same day. A day after this visit, I realized there was a leakage under the part they just changed a day ago. I immediately called the service and let them know that this is because of the part and the service of the technician, and also let them know that I do not have any hot water because of this leakage. They said that they somehow don't consider absence of hot water as an urgent problem, and said that they can't help on holiday. It is of course unacceptable as I pay for this 24hr service in monthly installements, and expect at least for them to solve the issue which they caused a day before! They have the worst service possible, and they scheduled another service for 4 days layer, which is unacceptable under these conditions! Everybody should be aware of these cases before looking for a boiler service, since I believe these kinds of experiences should define these so called "big companies".

They are fraudsters and liars

They are fraudsters and liars, the employee told me that I won't pay for any fine when moving to them, but the previous company deducted the fine from my account and I am still waiting for eneco to return the amount, but what happened was that I faced several financial problems this month with the insurance company and the internet provider and Others, and the funny thing is that eneco itself sent me an alert because I didn't pay this month, ..... youuuuuu eneco, how can i pay while i don't have money because of you LIARS. Don't believe any company and don't change, if they call you just ignore them.They have to explain that youuuu will pay the fine and later you will get your money back after you apply for that, then you have to wait 2-4 weeks, buttt they don't explain, they just say, don't worry.Essent took 250 Euro as a fine,that means i had to continue the month with 90 euro(what left from my salary).

Moved out of the country. There was confusion for the re-newal of the contract. I inquired about it to the customer service and the team refunded me within a week. Superb!

Literally the worst company I ever encountered

Eneco is the worst company I have ever been in contact with. They are the only company delivering 'Stadsverwarming' in our appartment building, so I have no choice but to be a client at Eneco. The people you talk to over the phone have absolutely no idea how their company works, how their services work, what department does what, how to solve issues, how to get you in touch with the right person, and the list goes on. You spend ages in a queue or being transferred from one person to another, without any result. My girlfriend lives in a different place, but has exactly the same issue. Cancelling a contract takes ages, again they simply cannot connect you to the right person, they don't deliver on promises made over the phone, and they still charge money even after the contract has been cancelled. I never ever want to be in touch with this company again once I move out of my place, and I recommend others to stay away from Eneco as well.

eneco are totally trash

eneco are totally trash. terrible customer service. horribly organized administration. pretty sure they are pulling a scam and overcharging for energy. every person who came to check our meter agreed we were overcharged and somehow eneco finds way to justify charging even more afterwards? how this makes sense i have no idea. energy costs climbing monthly despite certified less energy use. makes truly no sense. watch out for these cowboys yall . wish we had any energy company except these.

Seriously itś the worst costumer…

Seriously itś the worst costumer service I have ever faced. they never answer online chat, unless you have a business account. Chat on facebook are useless, they cant assist online and they wont call you. If you try to call and if you are super lucky you will get to talk to someone after 25-35 minutes of waiting and paying for the call. I had one on the call who she didnt speak good English. after two minutes of trying to explain what my request, she hang up on me. Most of the energy companies has a costumer service desk where you can go to to, except Eneco.I have been using their energy for my own house and it is not bad, but when it comes to the costumer service they definitely wins the top worst one.
