So bad

If I could give negative stars, I would. Eneco is the ABSOLUTE WORST. First, I tried to sign a contract and they assured me it was alright. When I checked online, I saw that I was paying less than originally estimated, and called them. They assured me everything was fine, but then started threatening to cut me off because I wasnt paying. I had to call them another 5 times and write a complaint letter to get them to start the contract and when they did they charged me whooping 270 euros for 1 month for heathing (in summer, in a tiny apartment when I am never home). Everytime I call them, they dont answer or I have to wait at least 40 minutes. The incompetence is staggering. WORST company ever.

I waited for hours on the helpline

I waited for hours on the helpline, so I decided to send emails, but I always wait several days for a response! We wanted to sign an energy contract, but it hasn't been processed since August 16th. In the meantime, we received a notification from Stedin that our stream will be disconnected. Their app keeps showing an error. Never again Eneco! This company is a massive MISTAKE! Instead of energy, they've only delivered stress!

Customer Service is awful

Customer Service is awful! Have been trying to get corrected jaarnota (the original one eas took high and incorrectly calculated) for more than 2 months. So many calls and emails and still no resolution. Customer service simply do not deliver on their promise: they promised to call back send update via email - never happened! During the call when they don't know how to respond further they just put you on hold. Awful experience!

Irresponsive and overchargingMade 3 complaints due to wrong meter readings and still waiting for it to be update since Eneco is charging me previous consumption before my moving date. A hassle.

Poor administration

I'm a customer here and can tell you its a nightmare. They have completely messed my account and cannot tell me why I owe 1400 euros. They send technicians over without calling. I cannot change my installment amount, too many errors. Its such a MESS.I'm forced using these people for stadswarmte.They take longer than the 10 days to check complaints.DO NOT USE THIS OVERPRICED MESS IF YOU CAN.

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service, I literally got the silent treatment when I proved that the fault was from their side and they tried to spin it on me. I stayed on the line to see if they would talk to me, but then they sent me another customers confidential information. So I said out loud that I received someone else information, only then did they start talking to me. It is unacceptable to give your clients the silent treatment and it is even worse to send the wrong email to the wrong person when it involves all kinds of confidential information.

If I could give them a zero star I…

If I could give them a zero star I would. Absolutely the worst energy supplier. They charge customers extortionary fees based on made-up meter reading. When they are challenged and presented with factual meter reading, they ignore you. When you ask for termination of the contract, they also ignore you without providing final bill even after more than 10 weeks of lapse time and end-less chasing. The worst energy supplier ever.

Eneco errors caused us THOUSANDS of Euros €

Terrible experience with Eneco. Their smart meter reports would say we had 0 usage some months and thousands of EUR worth other months. I asked about a faulty meter multiple times and their support response to the inconsistency was, "It's working properly. You must not have used gas or electricity during those months," which was obviously not the case because we're a family of 5 living here daily. We got stuck with an €8k bill at the end of the year, and we're still paying it down. We immediately moved to Vattenfall, and they were horrified at our experience.

HIGHER taxes and WORTS customer service ever.

WORTS customer service ever! HIGHER taxes and sh**t service. If you need them to solve your problem definitely you're f***k. They will make you waiting at least 45 minutes on a call and probably the worker is going to turnoff the phone "by accident" so you need expend more 45 minutes again. I'm having a problem with them regarding to my final bill. I was using a average of 50 ~ 60 euros monthly and paying 115 euros to them. Now they are asking me to pay 700 euros out of the blue? I'm trying to contact them multiple times, but it's useless! My advice to you? AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST. Their customer service and Media Market customer service have the same quality (SH**T) if you know what a mean.------------------------------------------------------------Update: 14/08/2023Eneco did contact me on 11th July, confirming they got my final meter readings and they are going to update my final bill accordantly. Last weekend they simply tried to debit 782 euros from my bank account. That's the level of organisation and customer service support that you can expected from them. Today I talked to them again (through chat), they change the bill due date (AGAIN) and according to their customer service: "They will Contact the RIGHT area again to update my bill". My request is open since 20/June, it's middle of August and they didn't do a thing and tries to stole my money. This should be considered a crime! Where's the Netherlands customer law protection agains this absurds.

AVOID THESE BUNCH OF USELESS IMBECILES!!

The level of incompetence in their customer service is unbelieveable, they literally employ clowns to solve your issues. No one ever knows what the problem is even if you've called 10 times about the same issue.They'll just transfer you around to different departments until someone takes pity on you and decides to actually do their job.Check your contact, these imbeciles will get even your most basic details wrong and then chaos ensues, any little changes that need to be made take a monumental effort to correct.No one takes notes, no one explains to their colleagues in other departments what the issue is to save you time, no one calls you back, no one returns emails you back, they literally don't have to meet any standards really, they are beyond pathetic - it's like ringing up a sitcom and talking to a bunch of actors who are pretending to be call agents.What an absolute nightmare they create for their customers they're supposed to be helping, its an absolute circus show playing with your money and time!
