We rented a car from Enterprise because we were in a wreck and needed a car till we had ours repaired. While driving the car the rear wheel assembly broke on the car we called in and reported it and they said we damaged the wheel assembly.
The wheel assembly broke while making a normal turn which is a mechanical malfunction. They charged us over $4000 to repair the car .
Beware of Enterprise car rental there is a reason they are rated so bad.You could set yourself up for a terrible expense you can’t afford.
Unbelievable that they would do something like this.

Avoid this company. I had the worst experience with them at Berlin's airport.
Totally unproffessional and rude behavior.
I booked a car for 7 days and they didn't give me the car because i arrived at the counter 1h later than planned.
They get all the money in advance and due to that delay, they cancel my reservation, they drop me out of the counter and no refund (full or partial) issued...

We collected a car for a 4 day rental and it was filthy. We could not see out of the windows and the washers were empty. When my wife drove off the sun came thruogh the winscreen and she could not see a thing. She tried the washers and they had no water making the vision much worse. This was really dangerous

The car was not checked before it was released.

On return after just 40 miles they said there was a screw in the tyre. The screw head had nearly disintegrated and the rubber around it was completely perished. It was obvious it had been there for many months. They said we would only be charged for a puncture repair but treated themselves to a new tyre
Kris the assistant manager said "When it comes to tire-related incidents, our standard procedure is to opt for tire replacement over attempting puncture repairs. This decision is rooted in our dedication to quality control and the safety of our customers. Repairing punctures, while a common practice, poses potential risks. We prioritize the longevity and reliability of our vehicles, and replacing tires ensures this"

Its actually an offense to rent out a car with dirty windows and an inoperative washer system but they didn't mind doing that! It seems saftey is only a priority when they can get new tyres instead of a simple puncture repair which is leagal and will pass an MOT

Under the Road Traffic Act 1988 and the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, a vehicle must be supplied in a roadworthy condition. This includes ensuring that:

The driver has an adequate and unobstructed view of the road; and
The windscreen washer system is operational so that visibility can be maintained at all times.

They obviously like to pick and choose which safety elements they want to abide by and are still insisting that the car was checked before it left.

I have my Ring doorbell showing that half hour after we picked the car up I am cleaning the windows and filling the washer fluid.

We were charged £680 for the 4 days and a brand new tyre BARGAIN!

If you value your safety do not rent a car from Enterprise

I'm very disappointed that Enterprise is collaborating with the ICE deadly terrorist activity against our neighbors. Other than this horrendous exception, they provide good service -- I hope that this voluntary and harmful aiding of ICE will end.

Terrible experience with car rental service.

1) The car pickup was delayed by 2 hours because they had run out of vehicles and gave away our reserved one. 2) When we returned the car, another customer backed into our vehicle right in front of their staff. They refused to refund our deposit for the incident and blamed us instead. I strongly advise against using this service; they are dishonest and untrustworthy.

Terrible experience with the service!

I had a terrible experience! We reserved a 7-seater vehicle, but the service informed us that they made an error and could only offer a 5-seater. They assured us that an exchange would happen that evening, with the 7-seater being delivered and the 5-seater taken back. With two guests arriving the next day, we reluctantly agreed. However, four days have passed, and we can't get in touch with them via phone or messaging. This has been the worst experience I've ever had. Now, two members of our group are relying on taxis constantly since they can't fit in the 5-seater. We're incurring extra expenses every day! While the company seems reputable, they clearly do not make efforts to rectify their mistakes. It's not worth the trouble—consider taking your business elsewhere.

Terrible Experience with Reservation

I booked a midsize sedan from December 23 to January 5. When I arrived at the location, I had to wait while the staff was on a personal call. Eventually, they brought out a car that reeked of cigarettes and body odor, with trash scattered inside and dirty seats. When I inquired about the car's year, I was shocked to learn it was a 2019 model. I refused to accept what seemed like a personal vehicle for $980! There were newer cars available, but I was told they were reserved, despite my reservation being made two weeks prior. I was left with no choice but to walk away. I ended up at another company and got a brand new 2026 model for $720. I strongly advise against using this service, especially at this location, as the staff was unprofessional and the condition of the vehicles was unacceptable.

An Exceptional Team at a Local Rental Service

The rental service in Mt. Pleasant has what I would describe as a "dream team." I faced a complicated rental situation after a car accident, and the entire team was fantastic. They were friendly, positive, supportive, and highly skilled, assuring me that all issues would be resolved—and they were. Every member of the team radiated positivity. I will definitely choose this service again in the future. A big thank you to the dedicated team members for providing exemplary customer service that is rare to find these days. Excellent work to all of you.

Very Disappointing Holiday Experience

This was an extremely frustrating experience during the holiday season. We rented a minivan from a location in Washington DC, but the tire pressure was low. When we reached a service location in Miami, they directed us to the airport. The airport service then sent us to a tire shop, but they couldn't help us as they had only one mechanic available. My husband contacted roadside assistance, and they managed to find us another minivan. However, upon arrival, they refused to provide a swap. It was a complete disaster! Never again!

Awful Roadside Assistance Experience

The roadside assistance from this service is unacceptable. Giving them a one-star rating feels overly generous. I spoke with a call center representative who was difficult to understand. After explaining my situation multiple times and spending 35 minutes on the phone, they directed the tow truck to the wrong location, and they mistakenly listed my name incorrectly. To make matters worse, they sent a tow truck for a battery jump when that wasn't the issue at all. They also failed to provide any guidance for the tow driver. As if that wasn't enough, they wanted to transport me 90 miles away to pick up a replacement vehicle. This level of incompetence is shocking. If this is how the service operates, I will never use them again.
