If I can give a zero, I will. I have been calling for the past 3 days to change flight due to Covid19. each time I am on hold for more than 3 hours, day , afternoon or night. I sent email twice. I attempted chat. I attempted calling sales department. No one get back to me. My travel date is in 2 days and I have yet been able to get some service from TD expedia . I don't know what to do. I feel very frustrated.
I bought a ticket on Expedia for TD from Accra, Ghana To London, UK On TAP Air, About 2 months before flight I receive an email from Expedia about schedule change, I think when ever airline change schedule they are allow you to cancel the booking for free.Expedia send out an email to TAP about a refund but never get any response back from them even after 15 days.Another problem when I ask them to proceed with refund they claim you would not get any because actual fare is only $60 and airline cancellation penalty is $150, But I paid $398 in total I bought many tickets in life I always get refund on the basis of full price minus penalty never ever get a refund on the basis of fare, usually fare is less then taxes and fees. I hope Expedia will look in to this matter soon.
The prices are frequently higher than on expedia.ca. Shop very, very carefully.The price match policy is enforced beyond the strictness set out in the publicly available policy - for example, they will reject a price match request if you cannot get all flight details in one screenshot (e.g., in my case of a six flight itinerary). They then claim a PDF with a printscreen of the price is unacceptable proof of the price. Big promise, low delivery. If someone on a classifieds site tried similar tactics (rope you into a deal then deliver differently than promised following payment), we would not hesitate to call it a scam.The only reason to use the site and bother with the frustrating price match policy (because I sure want their $50 coupon so I can continue the abusive relationship), is if you're tied to the site with a TD rewards credit card. Time to cancel the card, I guess, and stop wasting time with this nonsense.
DO NOT BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA FOR TD IF IT THEY ARE USING MAUI CONDO AND HOME. DO NOT BOOK THIS CONDO AT THE MAUI BANYAN G410!!Booked with Expedia for TD in the past but this recent booking for what was presumed to be the Aston Maui Banyan was a private condo being managed by a third party which did not present what was paid for. There was NO communication from Maui Condo and Home regarding the rental procedures. All that was received was a confirmation email from Expedia for TD indicating that there was no need to reconfirm the booking prior to arrival even for late arrivals. This would make one assume that everything is in place for arrival. Well late arrival resulted in the rental of a condo that had a key pad lock which no code was provided prior to arrival. Upon arrival condo owner did not allow for usage of the laundry facilities for laundering of towels used for the beach. Could not lay on top of the comforters. Also you needed to supply your own toilet paper and you are being charge $450 per night for a 2 bedroom that faces the parkade.Both Expedia for TD and Maui Condo and Home are quick to blame each other and no one will take any responsibility for the mistakes made. Both are quick to take your money. Personally poor customer service for a large company or any company is unacceptable. Expedia for TD is quick to respond with the buyer beware but they have an obligation to ensure the products endorsed by them are the quality they say they are. Absolute no support for their customer nor a willingness to go above and beyond when a booking has failed miserably. They use to be great years ago but the greed and just pushing numbers to create profit has now taken over. I am not the only person who has experienced this.
