I purchased one return AC Ticket to Asia with Expedia for TD and 8 of my friends purchased the same tickets with Expedia.ca, same price same class same day...Originally we go to SGN with a stopover in NRT for 2 weeks but Japan is not open for individual travellers yet, we changed our ticket to go directly to SGN without a stopover in NRT.Expedia for TD charged me $253 for the changed ticket and Expedia.ca charged all my 8 friends only $ 3 because the reservation agent change my ticket with a higher class K, without checking for available S class and all my friends with lower S class and I am the first one to call expedia for TD and my friends called Expedia.ca for the same day to change their tickets after my 1st call, I called back many times explaining mistaken by an agent, even sent to Expedia for TD one of my friend itinerary ID as a proof how he paid $3 and me $253. The answer is - "on investigation", and on my 5th call the agent said I will receive a refund in a maximum of 10 days, but never received and I keep calling back without success and one night at 11 pm Montreal time, an agent with Asia accent called me probably from Vancouver telling me there is no mistake and did not accept his agent mistake and close the case very sharp. So no more Expedia for TD. Be aware to purchase from Expedia for TD!
It will likely not be believed what I describe, because it is unbelievable that company like Expediafortd will act this unprofessionally.I had a complaint about a day tour bought from Expediafortd. A guy calling himself GL Tours in Portugal who doesn’t check who he picks up, wrong people, dumps us in Lagos for 2h wait to pick up the right people, day ruined. Expediafortd calls that guy, he gives them the very first email in Canada that he can google, happens to be Parks Canada Elk Island, tells them to complain to them, they tell customer to do that, upon finding this is completely wrong email, Expediafortd insists this is the right email for filing a complaint. They will not connect me to supervisor or manager. Gabriel Lima (GL) is just laughing his head off right now. Expediafortd, who are you? How is this even possible?
Question: what takes at least 27 months, countless hours on the phone and comes with lies and silence? The answer is not your last failed relationship; instead it's how long does it take to be heard regarding a refund for airfare from Expedia for TD.I purchased an airline ticket in my 40s, I'm now 50 and I'm still being told that Expedia are looking into my refund. When I purchased my return airline ticket from Expedia, Britain was still a part of the EU, COVID was something that happened to other countries and I was $600 more well off. Despite assuring me that I'd be fully refunded, Expedia has chosen instead to pretend that I'm their least favourite friend and have made the savvy business decision to simply stop taking my calls and not calling me back as agreed. Of the 25+ calls I've made I can only think of one positive outcome thus far- I'm on a friendly first name basis with many of the staff at the call center. I've been told that my case, "case" here meaning taking my money not delivering on a service and not giving it back, will be "escalated". There's been more escalation in the last few months with this circus act of a company than a Liam Neeson movie. As I near the 28 month mark I find that their ineptitude only acts to steel my resolve. The fix? Give me my money back, because only that or my death will stop me from calling.
We booked a trip to go to Europe last October. We booked several hotels for the same night and then reviewed all the information on each property, chose the hotel we wanted, and then cancelled the other bookings. We have no idea what happened, but ONLY ONE of the cancellations went through. We have contacted TD Visa, Expedia for Td (MULTIPLE TIMES) only to be told that they could not see a glitch in the system and we are responsible for the charges. It is $3000!!!!! BEWARE when booking with Expedia for Td....we are devastated that they will not do anything to help resolve this as we have been a 40 year customer....no return phone calls no help whatsoever.....
Booked a Vacation through ExpediaforTD, was given a confirmation number and the credit card was charged by AirTransat. Calling Air transat they won't refund I have to go through Expedia, when calling Expedia, they want the confirmation # typed in the phone before they connect me, the number they gave me is not working. Over $6000 out and can't even connect with anyone! Frustration beyond belief. Any time I call they disconnect my call because my confirmation number I got from them is wrong.
We have to cancel our flight to Italy because of the Corona Virus we have been on hold for between 2 and 4 hours every day for a week and not had our call answered yet. There are no alternative ways of canceling this trip... bad service, frustrating!
