Expedia for TD customer Service is terrible and agents lie

Expedia for TD customer service is the worst that I have experienced with any other company. They booked the flights over the phone without disclosing the restrictions. Now the customer service is extremely poor as agents lie on the phone and the management is not available to talk to. This company's management is absolutely ignorant and unprofessional as they have never contacted back. Stay away from this company at any cost. Shame on TD as well as they are throwing their clients under the bus by recommending their clients to use Expedia as if they will get good service.

Rude and Condescending Customer Service

Booked our flights through Expedia for TD for our honeymoon. The first flight was delayed causing us to miss the second and third connecting flights. Ended up stranded in Toronto for 2 days and $5100 later (4000 of which went directly to Expedia for TD) we made it to our destination. Called them when we got home, spoke with Benjamin. He is the most condescending person I have ever dealt with. He just kept speaking over us until we gave up and emailed us 2 days later to tell us he wasn't going to help us. Using them was an expensive mistake.

I'm so determined to let people know…

I'm so determined to let people know how awful my experience with them has been. I have been using their service for years and this is my first bad experience but it really has deterred me from ever using this site again. I was told that I would be contacted within 72 hours of my issue. 72 hours passed and I had to follow up. I followed up a total of 3-4 times and I've been advised that my issue was escalated and someone will call me within 24 hours. Its a week later. Needless to say, save yourself the stress and book through a reliable third party provider with good customer service. No one is able to direct me to a supervisor and they are offering no solutions. For such a known company I am absolutely appalled at their customer level standards. There is none. They do not care.

Absolutely worthless customer service and platform

Absolutely worthless customer service. They allow their customers to book on their platform but have 0 accountability for the vendors it allows on its own platform. Expedia for TD charges me for my bookings, yet if anything goes wrong or is modified, they refuse to help and conveniently ask to contact the vendor directly. Why do we provide business to Expedia for TD when I can book directly with the Vendors. There is absolutely zero benefit from booking with them. Avoid them as a platform and give your business elsewhere

Worst travel service ever

I have been using TD rewards and Expedia for TD for years and unfortunately the worst part of their service is their customer service who is only reachable by phone and every single phonecall is atleast 30 mins long, no idea what they keep doing in the background, but any modification to the bookings are a complete nightmare and most recently I had canceled a flight and was waiting for a refund over $1,500 which I receive an email about that I will not get, I can't wait to destroy this terrible credit card. TD should understand the impact this service has on its customers and assist rather than having nothing to do with this

Procedural and customer service nightmare.

I have been using this service for ten years. I booked a car for my husband j Vegas , they didn’t have the reservation when he arrived so he had to book a new car. They charged me anyway and wouldn’t refund my money until I sent them a copy of my husband’s payment for the new reservation. After three weeks, they finally agreed to refund my money but ONLY a manager could approve the refund and they had to speak to me on the phone. It’s been over a month and I still have yet to be in touch with a “manager”. Once I do get my money, I am going to destroy this TD Travel Visa, and get myself another travel credit card because this is absolute garbage. I have dealt with some of the worst customer service representatives I have ever dealt with in my 53 years and I will shout from the rooftops to dissuade anyone from using Expedia for TD.

For months issue not fixed

For months, have pleaded with Expedia for TD (and also TD Rewards) that the Expedia for TD website will not load when using a Google Chrome web browser.Once I was told that the developers were aware of the issue, and working on it. Nothing ever happens!Poor, poor customer relations.

TD for Expedia has awful customer service. They just pass you on and scoff at you under their breath when you explain to them an issue.I highly recommend to not use EXPEDIAF for TD’s services when travelling. Also, what’s shown on their convenient affiliated ExpediaforTd website in regards to hotels and rooms you book is totally different than what you receive when you arrive in actuality. Very disappointed and will never use them again

Looking at the riu reggae for 15th February 2023. 2 weeks.Why are the prices $1000.00 more per person booking through Expedia through td. This is fraud. Every place is way more expensive than booking through any other travel agency. We would lose $300.00 booking through anyway travel. Their travel prices should be the same as all travel agencies. Go in and see for yourself. Tom ontario

Stay away from Expedia for TD

Rented a car through Expedia for TD and paid in full 5 months before my trip.I arranged to pick the car up on 12pm on a Saturday. Expedia didn't tell me that this place closes at 12pm on Saturdays. I printed out the email and read it carefully before the trip but the closing time wasn't mentioned. Enterprise must have all my info but didn't email or text me to let me know that they close at noon.Got there at 12:15pm and the staff refused to give me the car I reserved citing that I was late and they already closed.If either Expedia or Enterprise had warned me about the 12pm closing time, I would've chosen a different rental location or company. My whole trip depended on having a rental car and that's why I made a reservation 5 month before. Arrgh.I scrambled to get another car and paid much more. Later called Expedia for TD but they kept citing it was my fault until one of the supervisors checked the emails I've received and agreed with me. The supervisor started a process to get compensation for me but it never went anywhere. Every time I called later I had to explain things again and again. I was promised a call within 24 hours by a supervisor but nobody called.Expedia for TD is not worth your trouble.
