This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever experience... There is absolutely no follow up, whatever they say they will do you can be sure they won't... Having been a client for more than 20 years I look forward to closing my account once I get back home.
I have been a long time user only because of the travel points with the attached credit card, but no more. It seems they are okay as long as no problems arise. But everyone is fine as long as no problems arise. My last experience has ended any loyalty I felt towards this agency and the card attached. I1 of us purchased a flight that involved one connection. We used various agents but I was the only one at TD expedia. One leg of the trip was cancelled by the airline. Very long story but I spent hours and many phone calls trying to get TD expedia to act and rebook this one leg with the same airline, just an earlier flight. All the others in the group had theirs done within minutes. I was part of a group so needed on the same plane before it was full. Days later they told me that flight was full and they couldn't help me. Even more phone calls and time spent by me but in the end I had to book my own flight. The flight they said was full....was not so luckily I could join the group again. I then had to make many phone calls begging for my refund for the cancelled leg that they said they couldn't rebook. Each agent I talked to would say they had put the forms in for the refund but nothing would arrive and the next agent would confirm that nothing had been done but they would do it right then. And this went on and on. I did not give up and I did get that part refunded. All of this angst and doing it myself and not one apology. I had to pay more for the second booking. It was only $90 but they refused to pay that when it was directly their fault. All of the other people in the group had their tickets rebooked by their selling agent. All done the same day and no extra cost. Expedia was the only agency who made this simple transaction so difficult, lengthy and costly. They do not respond to emails.
Horrible, absolutely terrible service to td customers. Even being a customer they find away to screw you over would not recommend. Been through a complete roller coaster ride 2 years ago I would of recommended then hands down. Now customer service has gone down hill and so has the respect for their customers. Be very careful with them. Found that the prices are better through other websites. If you have any issues they pass you on to someone else and you could be spending hours trying resolve an issue been with them since 2013. We have been robbed as well as a hurricane destroyed our stuff with no compensation
They're call centre seems unwilling or unable to help.I've called 5 times each time they say they'll call me back in 24, 48,72 hour then within 30 days! now it's been six weeks still no call back and each time I call the call centre I get zero help zero results and just more promises that they'll call me back in 24 hours! they just seem so desperate to get you off the phone to improve their stats. No one ever follows up. No escalation. They just want your money and will never give it back.
I would give them no stars if that was an option. The training for when you call them is terrible and the person should be fired! They don't use common sense and just repeat the same thing every time I call. I have called 4 times for my issue starting from Aug 9th and still NO call from a manager. Hotel had to be cancelled due to Maui wildfires and state of emergency but they won't refund my charge of one night from the hotel as I cancelled the day after the day the cancellation allowed date. They keep saying that they need to call the hotel but there's NO power! It's insane the common sense it totally lacking and the fast they SAY it's been escalated but won't give you any confirmation in writing is beyond aggravating! I reached out the hotel via online chat and the agent said that they were refunding ALL bookings in Maui for OBVIOUS reasons and that Expedia knew they needed to email the wholesale depart to request the refund. They also said that Expedia ALWAYS does this. What a great reputation ExpediaforTD has!! I will not book through them ever again!
I was trying to book a flight for my parents, it showed a good price, same as what google flight would give you. But the moment I selected the flight and tried to checkout and pay, the price increased by $100! and gave me a message that price just changed last minute! I went back to the selection page again, but the price is still the original price! It only increased when I try to check out!Wow Expedia has become so sneaky! I ended up just go to the airline company directly to book my flight, which gave me the original low price!Don’t try to fool customer this way Expedia! Customer is not idiot! You are losing your customer and business by doing this stupid thing!
I booked an All-Inclusive as advertised on the Expedia for TD website. I clicked all-inclusive and followed and paid for my trip. My trip was 550.00 higher at Expedia before I booked, I confirmed with an agent THAT there was a price match. I submitted the claim. Did not hear anything till I called 8 days later. Everything matched with Air Transat. They are denying the claim because they say this is a package and NOT All-Inclusive, But I booked through their ALL-INCLUSIVE. I have made numerous calls and no one will help they keep on saying this is a package. There is NO difference here! BEWARE, DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS WEBSITE.
Worst service. The call center is somewhere in Cairo, Ezypt. The voise is very low and many of the agents can't understand the requirement.My ticket booking was in jeopardy. My credit with airlines was lost.Never ever will ggo through Expedia for TD now.
The worst experience that I have ever had. A nightmare.The inefficiency of the operators is incredible. I bought a ticket from Toronto to Milan and they did not add my middle name as shown in my Canadian passport.When I realized 20 days prior to the flight I started to call every single day. Finally one of the agents " fixed" this situation but that was not true he made it worse. He never said that he changed the schedule and then my nightmare started. Lack of respect and efficiency. I will make this experience public so people are aware of this.
We are from Toronto, Canada. We rented a THRIFTY car from Expedia for TD month ago( June28th, 2023), Expedia charged us $1000 at booking. We picked up car at LA, we were told by counter, my standard size car all are rented out, asked me to upgrade to compact SUV, We denied all insurances, additional driver..etc. As our credit card covers all insurance, and signed the paperwork as usual. We made my biggest mistake, that 1) We didn't read through, and 2)We didn't ask for the copy. After We returned the car on July 13, 2023. We were billed for additional US$1632, except $1000, the initial charge by Expedia at booking, In the total of C$3200 for 15 days Honda HRV compact SUV. Expedia contacted THRIFTY, the agent from THRIFTY told Expedia that We agreed all insurances and other charges, and SIGNED. One month after car rental. i have contacted EXPEDIA for TD FIVE times. I think the call center is out sourced to India. A few high-school youth answered my call. One girl hanged up my call as she had to take care of her mom in the hospital. No doubt, they can't do anything. i was told the case had been escalated to their manager, and return call were expected within 48 hours, however, i was never received a callback. So i contacted THRIFTY customer service directly. They replied to me, said they can't refund us anything as we signed the agreement, which was NOT complied with our verbal talk at pickup counter. I hope our bad car rental experience could teach everybody a lesson.
