Have been a TD Canada Trust client for over 25 years and have used TDforExpedia a number of times but never again since 2019. Am still waiting for a refund after 4 years even after they said a credit will be passed.Booked a trip in July 30, 2019 to travel to the UK in April, 2020 via British Airways. The flight got cancelled due to COVID by BA and a credit voucher was issued but never received. Have made 25+ calls to TDforExpedia and they have agreed to credit my Credit Card 3 times even after BA says that is OKAY but the credit never comes. They are totally hopeless and it is SAD the TD Canada Trust will not stand behind their loyal client.DO NOT USE TD FOR EXPEDIA FOR ANYTHING. They will not back you in anyway and their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HOPELESS.

Sometimes using points makes no sense

I just booked my flights for September 2023 and paid directly since to use my TD points through Expedia would have 'cost' me almost double. Be careful before you use points. It's not always the deal you think it is. Check the actual cost first. Just be aware.

inaccurate flight times

In my opinion: Ahmed S was so unhelpful. After explaining many times that the flight date on the expedia were inconsistent with the flight we booked, we were given reasons that made absolutely no sense. For example "it is because it is a flight" "the information could be not correct, call the airline". Not sure what the point is of booking through a 3rd party like expedia if they provide incorrect details and force you to connect with the airline when the information on THEIR website is inconsistent. What if we had shown up to the airport 2 days late as our expedia for td account says the flight is supposed to be on the 12th instead of the 10th? The least expedia can do is listen back to the recording and deal with this agent bc it's unacceptable to have people like that working for them.

Useless Point Card

I just booked my third trip without using ExpediaforTD.com because the prices on the Expediafortd.com website are higher than booking on other platforms including the hotel's own website. I find fewer options at higher prices. This is not a good point card.

I would give a 0 star if I could

I would give a 0 star if I could. They changed our flight, didn't tell me I can choose the next day as a free option. Made me think I don't have any other option but to cancell. I cancelled and got a refund and that same flight we originally booked is available but at a higher price. I called back and they said someone from managment would call me within 3 business days. It's been a month and no call back. I called several times and every time I call, i catch them in a lie. My phone records calls just like theirs and I have records. I'm still waiting on the call, it's honestly the worst customer service from a supposed reputable booking site

Turn you around and around without proper help. Very wasting time and slow response. If you have the credit, carefully book it because any changes or help will be a waste of time.

Got stranded in Ohio while driving home…

Got stranded in Ohio while driving home to Canada (interstate shut down). I tried to use my points to book a room, the site won’t work on my phone (I can’t click the buttons - it’s unresponsive). Tried calling the number to book - the guy couldn’t help and told me to go to the hotel and call TD rewards. The hotel has no idea what to do (it’s not their points program) and TD rewards customer service stops at midnight. So basically my option is to sleep in my car in a strange city or drive exhausted. I explained the situation to everyone and not one person cared enough to help. I’m beyond disappointed and angry. First time trying to use points and honestly I regret signing up - what a horrendous experience all around.

Horrible travel site! Stay away!!

Horrible travel site. Terrible customer service. Booked flights thru Expedia for TD, which were later cancelled. Was advised I was issued a $600+ travel/flight credit, however since I couldn’t see it anywhere on my account on their online website, upon contacting them numerous times, I was told I could only rebook thru the airline. Airline says it’s the travel agency Expedia for TD whom I need to book thru since they’re the original booking agent. Now stuck with not being able to rebook flights, since Expedia for TD days they “can’t see my travel credit” on my account!!! Total scam artists. I’m now out $646 because of Expedia for TD’s incompetence and failure to honour a travel credit. Stay away!!!!

Booked a family vacation (5 people)…

Booked a family vacation (5 people) from Toronto to New Zealand. Firstly, the prices on the the TD Expedia were much more than Expedia.ca. We booked 2 tickets with TD Expedia (points) and the remainder on the expedia website. Its a multi-leg flight and we wanted to change a segment. Long story short, TD Expedia couldn't do it. 9 HOURS on the phone, holding between them and the airlines. finger pointing etc. the 3 other tickets were easily modified. Unbelievable. Changing my card to avoid this scenario again. Ridiculous.

I have not booked anything on this site "yet" and as per the reviews I probably won't, but the site is useless, complete garbage. Glitches, don't save anything, jumps from one page to another etcPretty sure I will be canceling this Visa.
