Review Time
The technician failed to completely reattach my heat shield underneath the car. On the 3000 RPM pressure test, it was clear that there was an audible vibration. I asked the service advisor about it and he told me that the technician would have double checked everything, and to not be concerned. He of course was wrong.After getting on the highway, it was clear that something was dragging, and by the time I was able to get off the highway, the heat shield was torn off and left in the middle of the roadway. I was able to retrieve it, but had nowhere to put it as I was traveling. It ended up inside my vehicle on top of my expensive golf bag. I returned to the store and showed them the detached heat shield. The manager came over to find out what had happened and started spraying degreaser all over my golf bag, which ended up spraying all over the entire inside of my car and all of my luggage.The degreaser did not remove the grease from the golf bag. He told me he could pay for me to get it dry cleaned, but that he would not be replacing it. He said that it wasn’t their idea for me to put it inside my car. Where else would I put it? Absolutely asinine.It took them nearly an hour to reattach this heat shield to the underside of my car. I did get an apology from the technician for not listening to me when I expressed concerns before leaving, but the manager did not offer any discount on the service. By the time it was all said and done, I had lost an hour and a half on my trip back to Florida. Inexcusable. They owe me $400 for a new golf bag, $100 for an hour and a half of my time, and I would say my money back on the oil change (~$65) would be appropriate. So, Express Oil of Independence, you owe me $565. Contact me for the address. Buyer beware.
Top notch service for a fair price. Everyone at this location is great at what they do. Ethan and Nick have always taken care of me and are top notch with customer service/work. Last time I was in a few other assisted, Tommy and Kay, which were very helpful and knowledgeable as well. Over all 5 stars uo and down the board and 10/10 will always come back. Edit: I never got his name but the man under ground changing the oil and doing services is the real MVP
Preston and the rest of the crew were great. I bought a used vehicle for my daughter and came through to change the oil. Preston checked the oil and told me the oil was clean and had just been changed by the dealer and no need to change. He easily could've had a sale but was honest and checked out all the fluids and lights for no charge. I use this place for all of my vehicles' maintenance and have always had a smooth and good experience.
I was driving home from Silver Dollar City and realized that my brakes were grinding every time I put them on. I was anxious about getting home because I had more traveling to do the next day and didn’t want to cause an accident because my brakes wouldn’t work. .As I was driving home, I called Express Oil change to see about getting my brakes done because it was Saturday afternoon and I was concerned. I wouldn’t find a place that would do them. Anthony answered my call and told me to drive right there and they would get me in. I had a function that evening so I was not able to sit there while the car was being fixed. Anthony drove me home and also picked me up when my car was finished. He kept me informed of the price And the status of my vehicle. My brakes got fixed quickly and, I felt the price was reasonable. I appreciate Anthony being my Uber driver. Highly recommend Express Oil Change. They already do my oil changes. Anthony went above and beyond as well as his staff.
