This is the second instance where I've encountered the same issue during my oil change; they neglected to secure the shield under my vehicle. I could understand it happening once, but twice in succession is unacceptable. I had to arrange for someone to come to my workplace to fix it because it was scraping so severely that I was worried about further damage!
I visited a local service center for a power steering repair, and the experience was exceptional! The customer service was highly professional. The mechanic clearly explained the issue with the power pump failure and outlined what was needed for the repair. Since my vehicle is a 16-year-old model, they had to order the part, but it was fixed the very next day and ready for pickup. This review is about the local oil change service on North Gloster in Tupelo, Mississippi. I typically have a reasonably good experience there, but today's visit was frustrating and unsatisfactory. The primary issue was with the general manager, who I believe is named Matt, based on his uniform. He was neither friendly nor engaging during our interaction and failed to make eye contact. He abruptly opened my door when changing the oil sticker, which felt unprofessional. He also performed the oil change on my vehicle using a suction machine to extract the oil, a method I find unappealing. It seemed like he extracted very little oil, raising concerns about the thoroughness of the service. Additionally, he did not show me the dipstick after the oil change to confirm it was full, which has been standard practice by other employees. I'll need to check my oil soon, and if it's not full, I will definitely reach out to address this issue, as I expect to receive what I paid for. I am quite certain that I will not return for future oil changes and will instead consider other options in the area, such as a different service in Tupelo or a place recommended by my sister in Fulton, where they utilize a more traditional method to ensure all the oil drains out. I was in a tough spot with a flat tire, and the team from a local tire service really came through for me! They promptly arrived, removed my tire, took it back to their shop, and replaced it with a new one. Just 20 minutes later, they returned to my vehicle and installed the new tire. Avoid this service at all costs. I had a control arm replaced on my vehicle recently, and just three days later, it failed, leaving me stranded on the roadside. I've been waiting all afternoon for a tow truck. The mechanic assured me everything was fine, including the tie rods. I will never return to this place, not even for oil changes. I've invested too much time here, and that's it.
I brought my car in for a complete four-wheel alignment. It features a highly modified suspension with adjustable links on both the front and rear. I've visited other shops that either refused or failed to perform the alignment correctly. However, the service team in Portsmouth managed to do it flawlessly.
My husband arrived today at 10:30 AM to have all four tires and a coolant hose replaced. It's now 5:53 PM, and they still have his car, even though they close at 6 PM. When we went to check on the situation, we found an employee smoking near the vehicle. I asked why they had the car for over seven hours, and he mentioned they received the wrong part and were busy with other vehicles. While that might be the case, it's unacceptable to keep someone's car for that long, especially while showing such a careless attitude.
