I have always given you 5 stars. I've trusted you and sent my elderly mother there. We even drive across town because of your honesty and integrity. However, today our technician tried to up sell us. Suddenly, many things were wrong with the 2 cars we brought in. I thought there were finally good honest people out there, but as a loyal customer for many years, this was so disappointing. I felt like my local store sold out to corporate greed.
I had my car serviced at this shop. One week after, my car began having serious issues, on the front driver side. It seemed it could be the CV or Universal. I went back to them, the mechanic was willing to look over my car since they had recently performed the service. When speaking with the manager he would not do it unless I paid him $75. Furthermore, he was extremely unprofessional and would not even speak back with me but sent his clerk.
I took my car to a reputable mechanic, who stated the lug nuts had not been secured properly when this service place rotated my tires. If I had continued driving, would have caused an accident, ruined the car it maybe even a fatality.
Think twice before you take your car to this service location. They will take your money and not stand by their work. The manager and this location has been reported to the better business bureau and other agencies for unethical practices.
In the end, it cost me $400 times repair the damage they caused. If I could give them negative ratings, I would. They don’t deserve one star.
STEER CLEAR and go elsewhere!! They destroyed our vehicle by leaving the filter cap loose. Then after 4 different employees admitted it was their fault, they lied and said they never said that. That will try to blame you for their mistakes. Their negligence & lies caused us over $3,700 in repairs. They don’t respond to complaints from the SC Dept of Consumer Affairs and will ignore the case. Never dealt with such blatant dishonesty & shady work ethics in my entire life.
Never again will I step foot into an express oil change location!!! Took my mini cooper in for an oil change in July, paid $107 went back today 5 months later for another oil change. Was told it's $160 now because it has to be done on the mechanic side of the shop because of a policy change. SAME CAR SAME OIL CHANGE!!!!!! Try that on someone else I'm not playing that game.
Bubba made this overall visit amazing!! The technician told me about an issue I knew of, but had forgotten about. Super fast, efficient and affordable. Bubba was awesome with informing about what was going on and did so with manners, courtesy and a smile! Great customer service from all three gentlemen that were taking care of me. I didn't get the gentleman's name that first greeted me but he was awesome as well!!!
I am providing an update to my previous review of Express Car Care and Tire Engineers in Suffolk, Va. I was contacted by the Regional Manager within a few days of submitting my initial feedback, which I found to be a pleasant surprise. Subsequently, Rick, the manager, reached out to me, and I found his approach to be highly commendable. Had I engaged with him initially, my review would have reflected a similar positive sentiment. Rick and I discussed the matter and reached a satisfactory resolution, resulting in the successful repair of our vehicle. I appreciate your proactive approach in addressing the issue and developing an effective solution.
Please, for your own sanity, do not ever go to this horrible, dishonest place. They charged me $100 for an oil change and didn’t even warn me of the cost in advance! I would’ve never paid $100 for an oil change; that is insane. I’ve never paid more than $60 for an oil change. Not to mention, the receptionist can’t speak English or adequately use the computer. I will also be contacting the BBB and any other place online to warn unsuspecting consumers such as myself. That $100 is going to cost them MUCH more in the long run…ZERO, sorry,
I am normally very selective with leaving reviews, but I feel it would be a disservice to ignore my experience with Express Oil Change at the Westwood Loop location. Unfortunately, I purchased a used truck with a several hidden issues not disclosed by the seller nor showed up on the Carfax report. I have been to this location several times mostly for oil changes and always experienced great customer service.
My most recent experience has gone far and beyond my expectations of what true honesty and transparency is offered from all the technicians at Express Oil change. I want to personally acknowledge the service manage, Robert Mcclure for treating my issues as top priority and truly taking care of me throughout my frustrating experience. Robert handled my situation with true professionalism and not only ensured his team properly took care of my truck but also was very hands on with the repairs. He was very detailed and kept me thoroughly informed throughout the entire repair process. At no point did I feel I was pressured by sales gimmicks, up sales, or price gouging.
Actually, Robert truly extended his personal approach by providing me huge savings by not charging for costly parts or service charges which really relieved my financial burden.
In summary, Express Oil Change Westwood Loop has earned my trust and will continue to benefit from my return to the shop for any future maintenance or repair needs!
1st time using them and everyone I came in contact with was very nice, polite and friendly. I was very well pleased with Tonya B. at the Camden, SC facility. Have already recommended to a friend and will be returning myself. 20 minutes and she checked everything.

The team at this location is outstanding! They are efficient, meticulous, and courteous. I've had my oil changed, one tire repaired, new brakes (from a different service provider, but that's another story), and they fixed my brake light while also checking my tires ahead of the anticipated winter weather. Erick assisted me yesterday, and he was fantastic! They have certainly become my preferred choice for truck servicing!
