I ordered a wool rug and, like others, they took my payment. It was supposed to be shipped by January 15th, but I've received no response or updates. They are unresponsive to emails and calls. I will attempt to get my money back as this feels like a scam. I can't believe any reputable company would operate this way.
Like others ordered a wool rug, they took the money, was due to be shipped 15th Jan, no response, no update and wont answer emails or call. Will try claim money back as seems to be a scam..cant imagine any serious company behaves this way.
We spent thousands of dollars with Fable to renew all of our dinnerware. On 2 November, 2.5 months ago, we decided to order a USD 500+ large rug from them, which was displayed as being available.The shipment has been delayed twice and we were last informed the item would be available from mid-January. As of today, it hasn't shipped yet, and we are now being fully ghosted by their customer service when asking for an update on the situation.Not sure what's happening with this company right now but it feels like it's falling appart... My advice to anyone else would be to stay away from it, I know we will as soon as we get our rug.
Very poor quality tall glasses.Ordered the pro version and given the price point and positive reviews, the glasses were expected to have good quality. However, one of the glassess was scratched in less than a month without anything that caused it. It’s really disappointing and misleading because they claimed that the glasses were scratch-proof etc. The way the company dealt with it was quite questionable as well.Won’t recommend, it’s better to source Japanese-made glasses elsewhere.
I so wanted to be a long time Fable fan. We've actually spent over $2,500+ dollars at this Canadian company. I was a big fan of supporting buy Canadian and this was a brand I had been praising to my friends and family. Unfortunately, they've truly disappointed with their customer service and product design. Some of their products have design flaws, aka there are blemishes that come from their manufacturing processes. The product in question, gold matte knives, have a grey dot on the top of the knife. While some might say, what's the big deal - when you're buying a more expensive brand for design reasons (if we wanted a normal functional butter knife, other companies can do that job) - you would expect them to take pride in their design. They don't. Their customer support made it sound like we had a bad batch, sent it back 3 times to get new knives, 3 times. And then finally, after the 3rd time, their customer support team acknowledged that it was a design issue after talking to their supplier. After complaining about the fact they wasted our time, they kept giving me canned responses that really felt cold and frankly, hand wavey. I gave them multiple chances, but they had no desire to make anything right, not even suggesting they would contact their supplier on a fix.Awful, and honestly won't be spending another cent with this company. The worst part is how much we've been a fan to our friends and family only to have this brand treat us so terribly (they've made purchases too). I would really beware as lots of negative reviews have definitely come up about this company.This is one where I would say, don't buy Canadian.
I bought a set of plates three weeks ago and they confirmed the wind shipped on the 28th, which never arrived. I chased them several times to understand where the order was they said it was delayed. They couldn’t give me a date. Customer support is dreadful and there’s no reliability on when they will send you the order. Quite upsetting considering I needed these plates for an event.Stay away of this company.
I bought Fable’s tall glasses in 2023, and two of the four have already broken under completely normal use (one even cracked while I was just adding ice). For glasses at this price point, especially ones advertised as durable, I expected them to last far longer than two years.When I contacted customer support, I was told the glasses have since been redesigned into a more durable “Pro” version, but they still wouldn’t send replacements for the earlier, less durable version I received. The new design may be better, but my experience suggests that if you happen to get a flawed version of their product, the company won’t do much to make it right.I also submitted this review through Fable’s own website, but it never appeared. Based on what I’m seeing here on Trustpilot, I suspect other customers’ less-than-positive reviews may not be making it through their internal moderation process either.Because of all this, I can’t recommend the glasses or the company.
I bought Fable’s short and tall glasses in late 2024 believing they came with a lifetime breakage warranty, something that was highlighted when I made the purchase. After two broke in the dishwasher, I contacted support expecting a replacement, but was only offered 50% off. The quality and design feel great, but the shift in warranty and lack of clarity about the change are disappointing. I wish Fable would honor what customers believed they were promised.
