Following an unfortunate medical emergency in France, treatment for which continued over several months, the professionalism and support of Fastcover was excellent from start to finish.The email and telephone support from the Emergency Assistance team while we were away was excellent. We felt supported and knew that there was help available should we need it.Fastcover's review and assessment of our claim was undertaken in a very timely manner. We were advised when the claim would be assessed, and then the company even responded ahead of that timeline.I should add that throughout the long process, I was fastidious in keeping receipts, recording all medical interventions and associated expenses, and maintaining open and frequent communications with the Emergency Assistance team. I think this probably helped the claims procedure progress swiftly and smoothly.
I had delayed luggage issue and an airline that was putting me through the ringer. I came back and was so stressed but Fastcover was really great to deal with. They even sent me a reminder to make sure to lodge before my claim period covered and it was a very easy way to claim online.
As frequent travellers we have used various companies for travel insurance but changed to Fast Cover this year as the website was easy to navigate and intuitive. After a medical issue in the USA, the Fastcover emergency response team was helpful in deciding what to do next. The claims team was always very helpful by phone and email and the claim was approved, but the sought level of medical history was difficult to gather, and the claim process took almost a month. It would be helpful if Fastcover explained more clearly, at the beginning of a claim, what level of detail they need in the medical history.
Our claim was handled efficiently, yet sympathetically. I cannot speak highly enough of the claims staff who I spoke with or communicated with, always taking the time to ask after my daughter by name and offer good wishes for her recovery. They explained the processes clearly and once approved, payment was made promptly. Thank you for making this difficult time a little easier. I will always use fastcover travel insurance and recommend highly.
