I ordered a bicycle from this webshop and paid €219 via iDEAL on 10 February 2026.
After placing the order, I did not receive any shipping confirmation or tracking information. After waiting about two days, I contacted the webshop to ask about the delivery status.
Only then was I informed that the bicycle was not in stock and that the order would be cancelled.
The webshop promised a refund several times in writing, but the refund was not processed within the promised timeframes and I had to repeatedly follow up by email.
Only after escalating the issue and reporting the payment to the payment provider Mollie was the refund eventually processed.
The refund was issued under a different company name (Bike2Bike) rather than the webshop brand Fietsly.
Although the money was eventually returned, the refund process took a lot of time and effort.

1 star. Avoid. Ordered on 13 December. On 18 December they told me the item wasn’t available and asked me to choose another. I explained it was a Christmas gift and I’d only switch if it could arrive before Christmas. They guaranteed delivery by 24 December. Then they went silent. I called multiple times with no response. Eventually they replied to an email saying they’re “busy” and delivery would be 29 December instead. I told them to cancel and demanded a refund, and I still haven’t received anything. Unreliable communication and broken promises.
On 4 October 2025, I ordered a bicycle from Fietsly, which according to the website would be delivered within 2 working days. After payment, there was complete silence: no updates at all, and repeated emails and phone calls went unanswered.I only received a response after formally cancelling the contract and stating that I would report the case to the Consumers’ Association, my bank (due to possible fraud) and, if necessary, the police for potential deception. I was then informed that the bicycle was “unexpectedly” out of stock. Even after being assured that the full purchase amount would be refunded, the process was handled very poorly. Several promises of a refund were made, but the stated deadlines were repeatedly not met. In the end, only part of the amount was refunded: the €50 shipping costs were not returned, despite the fact that the cancellation resulted from their failure to fulfil the delivery obligation.Advice: do not order from this webshop!I will be submitting a report to Radar (a Dutch consumer protection TV programme that investigates problematic companies) and the Consumers’ Association, and I encourage anyone who has experienced similar issues with this webshop to consider doing the same
I really regret not checking Trustpilot earlier. If I had seen it earlier, I would never have placed an order. I hope everyone can see this painful experience and not go through it. They will not ship the product after taking your money! You will lose your money! I really don't understand how such a ridiculous thing can happen in the Netherlands, a country with such a developed economy and legal system. These people are showing the bottom line of human morality to the world.

They respond that 'they just got news from their supplier' that the item is not available and I will receive a refund within 7 business days16 Apr: Notified them that I have not received a refund. They asked for my bank account and I provided it28 Apr: I asked for an update. No response received30 Apr: No refund receivedI also wrote a review for Fietshome.nl, where exactly the same thing happened. This is the same company.
Unfortunately, no starts are impossible. The worst experience ever. As I see they have the following scheme: 1. you pay for a bike and wait for delivery. When you are done waiting and ask them there your bike is they answer: it's not in stock, in 7 days we will return money.2. In 7 days nothing happens so you write them, they answer something like: we are very sorry but we have a problem with our bank. Wait 4 days. Then the same again, and again... I wrote them 12 emails. 3. When you finally tired of this wonderful emails writing and you let them know that you go to the police or incassobureau, they return your money.If you don't care that someone is just keeping your money for no reason, that's a shop for you.
After 15+ email & Whatsapp message communications respectively throughout almost 1.5 years, I only received 2/3 of the refund in 2 batches so far since they claimed my order was out of stock. Every of their replies is either will be investigated with Finance team/ bank, bank's problem, will be refunded at certain date (90% will not be happened) as an endless cycle. When you filed a report with police, Fietsly threated you have to withdraw the report before they would proceed with the balance refund. Once you withdrew the report under limited choice, the same communication cycle resumes or even with no response.Order here if you have too much energy, time or wealth.
