Review Time
In sharing my experience with first MFG, I would like to note that I've read a ton of these reviews and realize the general consensus is not good on trustpilot or Yelp. I would also like to note that first MFG is not a BBB accredited business.
That being said, my experience was good. I ordered two vests and a jacket, these are not cheap made garments they are heavy duty Rider protection. I had a hard time, as I sometimes do, selecting a proper size to order. I ended up initially ordering a large in all three items. I then, within 48 hours, sent over an email requesting to change my size to extra large on all three, which their AI response system told me that they could do that. It was at that point I started to investigate first MFG on trustpilot and on Yelp and noticed a lot of bad reviews so my worry began to rise. I followed up by calling the customer service phone number to which I got a poor English speaking woman who was very vague and seemed fishy to me and that's just me being honest. She didn't ask for any further information besides the order number and proceeded to tell me that my "order was being prepared for shipment and the sizes would be XL." That happened to be exactly the information I was seeking but she didn't ask me what my call was about, she just told me, which seemed a little off (Perhaps they receive a lot of calls like mine). As soon as I got off the phone with her an email came with a UPS tracking number, which a couple of other people on here said they got a tracking number but never received their purchases. Well, in my case, two days later I received my product, I am pleased with it. Again the quality of the product is pretty dang good.
That is my experience with first MFG.
I would give them five stars, but seeing as I am a skeptic and others might be as well, it might be assumed that the five-star reviews are just made up reviews by scammers of some sort to try and lure people into buying. But honestly, I could almost believe that the bad reviews are made up by the company to stop people from over buying causing them to have backups on orders that get delayed by weeks. As silly as that is and probably isn't true, I could believe it, because my experience went pretty well with them. So I'm giving it a 3-star ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ although it probably does deserve more, hoping that somebody reads this and it finds them well. This was my first purchase through first mfg, so order at your own discretion I probably will buy from them again.

Secondly I would say the AI customer service emails are extremely annoying, so I went ahead and called their customer service line and got a very vague customer service representative who seemed to struggle with English. As of right now I have a UPS tracking number and my order has shipped, assuming I get what I ordered and exactly what I ordered I would say the most I'm willing to offer this company is three stars because my experience being good does not outweigh all that I see that is bad. Furthermore I spent over 500 with first MFG and over 300 with two other companies on the shop app and first MFG is the only company that I've found so far that actually has a customer service number you can call and every vendor I found on the shop app has extremely poor trustpilot reviews and Yelp reviews.

Purchased one of their vests for $350! It didnt even last 5 rides and the stitching is completely coming apart in multiple places. They refuse to do anything because I purchased through Amazon. So they dont warranty anything then even though its still their product. So its like a car company not providing a warranty because you didnt buy your car at the factory. Beware Worst company I have even dealt with. Over priced garbage with zero customer service.
Ordered the Top Performer jacket in XL. I'm 5'10" and 197 lbs. It arrived exactly when they said it would and fits perfectly. The leather is top quality and well made. It's very soft and supple. I wore it for the first time last night and was absolutely thrilled with it. It was 67 degrees out, so not real cold. I didn't have the liner in and wore only a long-sleeved T-Shirt under the jacket. I was perfectly comfortable. When I got home, I looked at my wife and simply said, "I love this jacket"! Well done, First Manufacturing! I am one happy camper.
FM inflates their MSRPs during sales, especially on Black Friday. Their stuff is made in Pakistan too. Stay away from This company! They aren’t honest. They aren’t reliable. Stick with a company like Schott out of New Jersey or Barbour out of the UK. Anybody but these guys.
I wrote a review last week about my experience with first manufacturer company, Raiders, Motorcycle jacket size large, which I could not zipper up because it was too tight. I purchased other motorcycle jackets like Harley Davidson’s and so on size large and they fit me perfect. I was going to return the jacket and exchange it for a size extra large, but then I got very ill and had three surgeries since then and I’m still recovering from the last one. I was told to contact the company and that they would assist me in a in an exchange. The exchange never happened because miraculously they cannot find my purchase information on record. In other words, it just disappeared. I am totally displeased and taking the loss of a purchase for an item that does not fit me because of their size fitment is wrong. So far, I've bought a leather vest, which I absolutely love and a pair of leather riding gloves. The gloves started ripping out on one of the fingers and I snapped a pic and sent them an email. Within a week, they sent me a brand new pair and told me to keep the old ones. Excellent customer service and I highly recommend their products!
I will be honest after I placed my custom order i was a little concerned... I've read so many mixed reviews... it took 6 ish weeks to ship because it was custom ordered.I am absolutely in love with this jacket! Everything is perfect and exactly as I ordered. I can't believe the soft but quality and thick leather and flawless stitching. I was worried about the zip off sleeves but they are amazing! The flexible gusset on the arms are attached to the jacket and the sleeves zip into them.I am 6'1" and 230 lbs (muscular) and I bought an XL and had them cut 2 inches off the bottom. It fits perfectly as a jacket or vest. The chest fits amazing and has absolutely no bunching up while riding.
