Will not replace faulty component

We have an old Fisher and Payer double drawer dishwasher which came with the house we bought 6 months ago. The control board has gone faulty and had been replaced less than two years ago because the manufacturing date on the component is less than two years old. The components have a 2 year guarantee.Fisher & Paykel are saying they wont replace the component because we don't have proof of purchase (happy to install myself - I just want a replacement part). I would think twice about buying their equipment. They know the component is less than two years old but they are doing their best to avoid replacing it. Note that the component costs £200 which is almost the same as a low end dishwasher.Avoid.Case Ref: 07838295NOTE THAT IN THE RESPONSE BELOW NO EFFORT WAS MADE TO TARY AND HELP ME LOCATE THE SERVICE DATE.

Easy booking, prompt time frame between booking and repair, good communication, arrived early, did the job quickly, explained what had happened, fixed the leak, cleared up, was easy company in my home - cost as quoted in advance.

Great experience, fault found quickly and issue repaired easily for the engineer Steve Beale. Steve also answered all additional queries I had in regards to our fridge/freezer.

Service above and beyond

Steve and Wayne came to fit our fridge freezer today and I’m so pleased with the service we received. We had a potential problem with plumbing in the water for the dispenser. It seemed insurmountable but the guys moved heaven and earth to make it work. We knew the fridge-freezer would be good but the service from F&P was outstanding. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thank you!
