Will fly (hopefully) in less than a week. Found out that they purchased a second ticket that I have never asked for, and when trying to reach them out, the phone numbers don't work, including their emergency line, as well as their website. I'm going to file a report to the police, because I feel like I have been scammed.
May 6th i was charged $1390 for a flight not booked. I have had no refund but i did get an email saying they were working on it. The email did not accept return messages.No one answers phones on either of the three extension choices. I have held to speak to "the next available agent" for hours on several occasions, just to see if there is a "next available agent".Beware
Omg, what a shitshow. We used them for flights to Amman, Jordan in business class. They confirmed, the airline confirmed and now, one month before departure, the airline said they canceled. How can they cancel? We paid in full. They will not answer their phone or email. They want you to leave a message and they will return the call. It never happened.We are going through our credit card company to get out $6000+ back..hopefully.Never use them.
I was thrilled to have secured the best price for my last-minute flight including an acceptable layover duration. The flight was confirmed relatively quickly which was important as the flight is only 3 days away and, very important: I received exceptional customer service. I received a refund for some charges that should not have been made so I replied to the notification asking for clarification. Cathy called me to explain the refunds and also re-confirmed the explanation via email. I will be using FlightGuru again and can recommend to friends and family. Thank you for the great experience!
Flight Guru offered a rate on a flight and then could not confirm it with the airline so my only option was for a worse flight that cost $1,000 more. Flight Guru did not communicate the failure to secure the flight until I contacted them 3 days later. The search for a flight was on Google Flights which directed the purchase to Flight Guru rather than the airline. Next time I will go to the airline's website to book.
I liked the layout of the main search screen. Was simple to understand. I didn't like being told there was only 2 seats left at the shown price and I would have to wait up to 24 hours before I could know I actually got the seats.
