Please when you read my review. Please be wise and avoid Flight Guru!!! Not to be trusted.I arrived at the Rui Montego Bay check-in to be told by staff that my payment has not being received. I was unable to get in contact with the FG staff as, when i called, there was a message saying this call cannot be answered. which my anxiety had hit the roof hoping that this was'nt a scam!!!! I eventually got through to Shaun the travel agent, who I'd dealt withI knew this was a different named person. I was speaking to, claiming to be Sean. The conversation was not following and this alias had become aggressive.Unfortunately the staff at the Rui were not able to support with my dilemma leaving me stranded without accomodation. My only option was to repay! I will be dealing with this traumatic incident when I return back to the UK😢
I paid 2400 for a a return ticket. I needed to change my date because my mother was ill. They then tried to charge me 1100 more I ended up getting a single ticket back from NZ for 600 pounds on line.Absolutely disappointed with this company I will never ever use them again.To add the flexible, tickets are anything but flexible your best off just buying online at least the airline dealing with them directly. You can read the small print.
I had reason to cancel my flight to the Philippines which was scheduled for December 3rd but suffered a injury at home which makes it impossible to fly at that time and firstly they told me that my flight was non refundable and in the end i contacted Turkish Airlines about this and they told me i can get a full refund of my money which they accepted eventually and told me i had one and final offer to accept which was part refund and part vouchers and was told it would take 3 weeks possibly to finally get my money back but after two weeks i had not heard anything about it so i tried to find out the status of my refund and was told by the airline that they thought i had received it but it was not true so i contacted my banks dispute team for advice and they told me that i tell them my refund should be finalised by this weekend and when contacted by Flights Guru they gave me wrong information about my refund and as i speak i still haven't seen my refund in my bank account and the amount of stress it has given myself and my wife is not very good at all. I most certainly will not book another holiday through them my experience on this occasion has been very stressful in what should have been a situation where it should have run through smoothly this was anything but smooth so never again will i use them to book another holiday when the time is right for me to book another holiday.
Being reported to Trading Standards.Called Flight Guru this morning to book flights to Jakarta.Tickets being advertised on their website at £769.00 today.The Indian lady who took my call stated these tickets were out of date prices. I informed her your company Flight Guru are advertising the prices today. And it says to call your number??.! I have printed the info out and taken a photo of the screen. A search done tis morning.She said my price is £900+. Which shocked me.I asked politely for here to speak to her supervisor as what she was doing is going against trading standards.After a minute she came back and said £900+ is my price? I asked the lady for here name and her supervisors as I would have to report this. Rose and Martin were the names given.Trading Standards is my next email.
Bunch of cowboys!!!Alex is most unhelpful, booked tickets to India via Gulf Air, with wife and daughter travelling last night.Alex promised he would book halal meals - never bothered!!!He put my daughter as the lead name in the itinerary - when I requested he change this he refused!!!!Since Sunday 23/06/2024, I have sent him WhatsApp messages daily. He opened all my messages and never replied. Travelling can be a very stressful experience.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay away from these cowboys, who will not help you and make your experience a misery.
