I bought a Flymo easyglide 300 and wish I hadn't. It cut the grass ok, but doesn't collect it very well, but my worst complaint is that the handles are not designed to fold, so storage is a major problem. The handle on my previous mower folded into a 'Z' and I could just put on a shelf. With this one, I have to partly dismantle it. I won't be buying Flymo products again. Cheap and nasty.
In Feb 2021, I bought a Flymo Glider Compact 330AX thinking Flymo were a well-established, reputable company with good products. However, in the summer, I struck a hidden object and the mower's flimsy, plastic design meant it disintegrated. In fairness, as it was under warranty, Amazon and Flymo agreed to send a replacement. All was good for 2022, but five minutes into the first cut of 2023, it stopped working. My local repair place investigated and found the motor is dead. The cost of replacement plus labour is more than the Flymo. It's literally had one summer's work, but Flymo are hiding behind the technicality that the original was bought in Feb '21, so the two-year warranty has expired. The replacement apparently does not get a new warranty. Regardless, they seem to think it's acceptable that a new mower should only last for around a year. I disagree. I certainly won't be wasting money on a Flymo again, and suggest you save yours too.
I just purchased a Flymo Glider Compact 330AX £170, it is totally useless, I was expecting a high quality product that would at least cut the grass, its that simple Fymo, it doesn't do what it should do, how can you even sell these ? you have wasted my time and effort, I wish I hadn't ordered it, anyway its on its way to AO.com now. This effort of a lawn mower does even lift of the ground like the old ones did, this is back breaking...
I have had my battery Flymo lawnmower for a few years now and noticed the battery needed replaced. I have since found out the battery has been discontinued which means I have no way of using this lawnmower now. This is very poor for a company like Flymo. I paid enough at the time where the spares should be made available for it.
I remember the days when Flymo used to be the go-to manufacturer for lawn mowers and other gardening kit. My father's lawn mower lasted from 1975 to 2017!We purchased a cordless telescopic hedge trimmer last year, similar to the current Flymo Sabre Cut C-Link model. It worked well 3 times, then the battery died! We tried, and our local gardener tried, to source a new battery, but they were like hen's teeth to source and very expensive! In fact that model of battery was no longer manufactured. So, we've had no choice but to scrap a perfectly good strimmer! Our neighbours have advised us that AL-KO is a far more reliable brand, so perhaps we'll try that next year. Or maybe go back to the 'mains' powered variety.Further research has suggested that Flymo bring out new models of cordless tools every year, with slightly different batteries. So, if your battery dies, your only option is to buy a new cordless tool! I wonder if other manufacturers follow the same business strategy for making money. Let's hope AL-KO don't!
EasiLife 200 so temperamental, harder to get it to cut the lawn than a teenager! Response time from Flymo is so slow... £600 down the drain. Just pay extra and get different brand. Yes it will likely cost more but at least it will do the job, my lawn has looked awful for the whole summer.
I purchased your Flymo Simpliglide 360 on 31st May, and have been very unhappy with it’s performance.I have only ever had petrol rotary mowers before, but am finding with your model it:- Sucks cut grass into the rear air vents- This reduces its ability to ‘hover’- It quickly overheats, cuts out and takes over 30 minutes before it will operate- Dismantling to remove the cut grass from inside the housing is a lengthy processNo reply, even after chasers to Customer Service. CEO Henric Andersson contacted 11 July for help, and still no reply.Useless product and awful management. Will never buy Flymo again.
I would give this company zero stars if was an option. The customer service is TERRIBLE. I previously had a Flymo 1200R and decided to upgrade to the Easilife150 because it offered an app for scheduling and had a rain sensor, since the other one would mow in the rain which was not good. This turned out to be probably the biggest buying mistake I've ever made because the product didn't work, and I wasted a huge amount of time trying to contact the customer service team who are only 3 people and completely overloaded. Multiple emails and phone calls later, after having to download software to my computer and then having to connect by USB to the mower to upgrade dits software 9which didn't solve the problem) and then a service collection and repair, I finally after 3 MONTHS have a working mower. The product should be re-named because has been anything but and easy life since I bought it. I will NEVER EVER buy a product form Flymo again as their customer service response is shockingly bad. Be warned. If you get one that is working and you don't have reason to cll them then you may be ok but otherwise avoid. Flymo, Husqvarna and Gardena are all owned by the same company, so I expect the other helplines to be equally bad - try another company if you want decent support.
