THEY CANCELED ON ME LAST MINUTE AND DIDNT RESCHEDULE ME.

I booked for a flight on 12/30 and the day before flight I got an email saying unexpected equipment repositioning and my flight got canceled. I then proceeded to try to reschedule with an agent for following day booking but was sold out. They mentioned they would give me a credit, and I never received one. I spent 1K on this “experience” and it’s now gone. Don’t waste your time with this company. They take your money and don’t care for their customers.

Amazing flight, but can’t recommend

Amazing flight, the best views you could imagine. However, they have a tendency to cancel on you the day before your flight.We got an email the night before saying they had to cancel due to equipment repositioning. From reading other reviews, either this company is totally incapable of planning or telling the truth.They told us we could reschedule or receive a credit, but no refunds. Reading reviews, lots of others have had this experience.The most confusing part was that they were still taking bookings for the same time slot we were due to fly.Having tried to get in touch that evening and the next morning, we heard nothing from FlyNYON. It was only when I mentioned social media in an email that they replied very quickly to reschedule us.We rescheduled for the following day and again received an email the night before cancelling the doors off part of the flight. The reason given was the weather conditions (freezing temperatures). Our options were to go ahead with the doors on, or again reschedule/receive a credit. No refunds, even for the extra we paid for doors off.Strange considering the weather had been below 0 all week, yet again they were still taking bookings for doors off flights on the same day and time as we were due to fly.We chose to go ahead with the doors on as at this point we just wanted to fly.We also found out 5 minutes prior to flying that this company had a fatal crash on the East River a few years back. Do your own reading into the incident and how the company still operates. It’s totally our fault for not researching properly sooner and things may well have improved now. It’s just something I think everyone should consider before booking. We decided to still go ahead.It’s all very shady, which is a shame because the flight was the best experience ever. Our pilot was great, as were the staff on site. Although, they will be very pushy and try to get you to upgrade to a longer flight.

Burnt money

I booked a helicopter flight and before flight I added an upgrade for 75$ for the long trip.The pilot told it will be a short trip and me and two others mentioned that we booked a long trip... the pilot said... not an issue we will do the long trip... in the helicopter we got the information that only a short trip is possible and that we get refund at the reception...On the reception they said, that within 3 weeks we we get the refund for the upgrade because they did a wrong booking...1 month later I claimed that I didn't received the refund and got the message: According to our terms and conditions our purchases are not refundable... but within 12months I can use this 75$ for an extra flight...So I have to fly from Germany to New York... great idea.I wanted the large tour and they didn't deliver... but they charged the big tour...Actively cheating customers - never again..,

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

I went on a flight with FlyNyon yesterday with my husband and all I have to say is WOW…..what an amazing experience. From beginning to end everyone was so nice and safety oriented. Igor and Carlos at the check in desks were so personable and answered all the questions I had with a smile (Carlos thank you for the perk). Our pilot Chris was amazing too. There was an older gentleman there that I didn’t get his name….he was helping us with the harnesses and going over all the safety things that was also so nice and talked me through my anxiety before getting on the flight. Now I want to do it again. 🚁
