I’ve flown several times when visiting New York with Flynyon, and I couldn’t be happier, each experience has been better than the last. The management has always been amazing, and the helicopter flight itself is outstanding. It’s an activity I would 100% recommend, and after trying different companies, I can confidently say Flynyon is the one I choose. Once again, extremely satisfied with the service, staff, and facilities.
Booked a helicopter ride as a birthday surprise for my best friend, but what was supposed to be a special celebration turned into a huge disappointment. We arrived early, following their policy, but ended up waiting over 3 hours for our flight with no explanation or communication from staff. At one point, we were left standing outside in the sun with no shade while the helicopter was refueling.To make matters worse, a group that arrived after us boarded and flew before us, even though we were scheduled first. After trying to reach out multiple times to raise this concern, it took nearly a week to get a response, despite their promise of replying within 24 hours.The flight itself was nice, but with such poor customer service, zero communication, and strict policies penalizing financially customers for being late (while they offer no explanation or compensation when they’re late), I wouldn’t recommend this company - especially if you have a tight schedule or limited time in the city. Overall, flight was nice but disappointing experience.
If you’re a tourist and have limited time in the city, I would strongly recommend rethinking using this company as we wasted majority of our day waiting around to go on a 16 minute flight. The sights were great but were they great for the wasted 3.15 hours not mentioning the time to get there, I wouldn’t say so. The worst part, we have sent an email voicing our concerns to the company, it took several follow ups and nearly a week to get back to us, when their policy is reply within 24 hours.. This was my birthday surprise from my friends. The flight was nice, however there was a 2 hours delay before we went up in the air, we were left waiting an hour and half at the office and then another 30 mins in the blazing heat near the helicopter with no roof. No one communicated why there was a delay, no apologies or anything. There were 4 groups, we were meant to be the first and were allowed to board a helicopter last. A group that came after us got on and took off before us. For a company that had very strict rules regarding being on time, we’re really delayed without any consideration for the customer. As I said this was my birthday present and we had reservations back in the city which we had to cancel due to delays. Really poor customer service and no consideration for the customer who is a tourist and does not have unlimited time to be wasting most of the day waiting around.
It was a really great experience! My seat was in front, like a copilot and I loved it! The weather was really bad before and we had to move the date. It was a good organisation and everybody was friendly. I loved it and it made me really happy!!
The flight was canceled due to bad weather. It was sunny that day, with no storms or wind. It was perfect for flying. They just wanted to keep the tourists' money. Be careful. It's a rip-off. Find another airline if you want to fly via New York. This company is a complete rip-off.
I contacted them through Instagram DM and I paid extra fees for the shoe selfie seats for both my husband and I but they have a seat which has a window and that was allocated to my husband and only I got the shoe selfie seats. On the other side of the helicopter. There are no windows and it is completely opened. Those people had not even paid extra for the shoe selfie seats and they were lucky to get it but they were so scared they barely put their legs out. We on other hand were excited, paid more and got window seat. If you get the middle seats then it’s even worse. I Do not recommend this at all. Please book a doors on flight for lesser price and better experiences.
