Review Time
my campervan was hit when it was parked. FMG were the third party's insurer. They were polite and seemingly helpful, but pretty useless. I think because it's an unusual vehicle, they just didn't know what to do. They sent me to two garages that don't repair campers, and finally, a month later, they've sourced a garage that can do the work. My van has been sat outside my house undrivable for all this time with zero progress on the claim. Also, they can't get me a hire car, again because it's an unusual vehicle. I am due to go away for the next three weekends and I have no camper. The third party insurer is insured for me to have a like-for-like replacement vehicle, but FMG seem unwilling to fulfill this. When I spoke to them today, I told them that I could get a hire camper to my house today by going online, so why can't they do that? The FMG rep said I could do that if I wished, at my cost, obviously?! I know that - that is the point of insurance, to mitigate that! They are unwilling to get me a replacement vehicle because it will cost extra money to go outside their usual suppliers - that's tough - that is what insurance is!! If I said to them....well I know I signed up for £500 excess, but I'm a bit short at the moment, can we make it £30? They would tell me to get lost. The insurer took the insured party's money for a contract that included a replacement vehicle, but are now saying......computer says no! If you're thinking of insuring through them, don't.
I was in an accident which was not my fault. They provided a courtesy car through enterprise. I physically couldn’t return the vehicle. Enterprise wouldn’t answer the phone. When I call these guys, they wouldn’t answer the phone either. Just spent my whole lunch hour on hold between the pair of them
Fantastic service from start to finish.Pleasant and efficient handling from 1st contact taking my car to its delivery.Every member was positive,polite and very organised nothing too much trouble. I.e my car was returned but had another scratch on it somehow guys took it back to garage and it was redelivered 2 hours later & u couldn't see where it wasBig plus my car was very messy inside and they had done a valet on it who could ask for more sparkling inside and out like the day I bought itThank you very much FMGWould recommend you to all in a heartbeat
Just got my car back from Norwich branch , they have done a fantastic job of repairing the damage to my vehicle.They also cleaned the car for me which was a nice surprise.Great communication throughout, kept me fully in the picture of the process. Highly recommend.
